James did not seem troubled in the slightest.
He raised his hand and conjured several cryptic inscriptions.
The inscriptions attracted the Dark Genesis and the powers of heaven and earth as they entered Zella’s body through the center
of her brows.
Ina flash, Zella’s aura, powers, and cultivation increased rapidly.
James helped raise Zella’s cultivation rank through his skilled manipulation of the paths.
Her cultivation rank went from the Martial Celestial Rank to the first stage of the Transcendental Bliss Rank in just a few minutes.
However, that was about as far as James could help Zella with.
For levels in and beyond the Transcendental Bliss Rank, Zella would have to work on leveling up on her own.
Zella was both shocked and excited upon sensing the improvement of her powers and cultivation.
At the same time, James incurred karma when he went against the laws of their world and helped increase Zella’s cultivation
rank.
Fortunately, James had achieved the Yuraeceon Rank and mastered the Karma Path.
He swiftly took care of the karma without sustaining any harm.
Wynton had a look of bewilderment on his face.
He never expected James had become so powerful that he could produce a Transcendental Bliss Rank cultivator almost
immediately.
“Is this cultivation rank enough for you to see it?” James asked.
“Mhm.” Zella nodded.
She sat on the floor and conjured a formation before her.
James observed the extrapolation formation Zella had produced.

He had mastered every primitive inscription that existed in the Dark World.
James had even seen the inscriptions of the Dark Heavenly Path before.
However, the inscriptions produced by Zella were beyond James’ level of knowledge.
“What is it that you want to check, James?” Zella asked.
James gave it some thought and answered, “Could you recreate the scenes back when the Dark World’s cultivators had
managed to injure Xayal? Then, Xayal had fused with the Dark Heavenly Path, and a consciousness was born within the Dark
Heavenly Path.” Zella had no clue who Xayal was, and it was her first time hearing about these things related to the Dark
Heavenly Path.
Still, she tried to use her powers to recreate these scenes through the extrapolation formation.
Soon enough, Zella could see blurred images in her mind.
Just as those images were slowly becoming clearer, a mysterious energy struck the extrapolation formation, shattering it in an
instant.
Zella coughed up some blood and collapsed as she was affected by that energy too.
“Are you alright?” Wynton quickly helped Zella up.
James’ eyes narrowed.
“It’s Xayal...
He’s doing these things again.” Zella wiped off the blood from the corners of her lips.
She smiled apologetically.
“I'm sorry, James.
I was starting to see some images just now, but that strange energy stopped me before I could do it.” “I know.
I felt it too,” James replied.

He could sense that it was Xayal’s doing.
“What do we do now?” Wynton asked.
James said, “That man has been doing this repeatedly to prevent me from learning more about that incident.
I have more or less figured out the way to defeat him.” “Huh?” Wynton appeared slightly confused.
“What is happening right now? Who is Xayal?” “Stay here.
I'll take Zella with me for a bit.” James took Zella and teleported away.
James concealed his aura and vanished from Anceralos.
Even Xayal who had control of the Dark Heavenly Path would not know where James was.
All along, James had been someone beyond the Dark Heavenly Path’s control.
Even though he had always resided in the Dark World, James’ existence was not recorded in the Dark World’s Heavenly Path.
Therefore, Xayal had access to almost every piece of information about the Dark World after fusing with its Heavenly Path,
except for James.
