of a coal mine.

"Get up! It's time to work." Herodias wore an expression of pure annoyance.

'Why drink when you're such a lightweight?"

Yegor paused briefly. Then, he looked at James. "Where am I? Which dimension are we in now? Who am I?"

James was at a loss for what to say.

On the other hand, Herodias covered her face in embarrassment. James turned his gaze toward Herodias. "Ms. Herodias, I'll take the Direguard Lock with me. You and Mr. Yegor can head to the Thirty-Third Heaven right

away."

Herodias smiled slightly. "You're truly a sly little fox. Yehria is about to have a hard time facing you."

James gave a slight nod and teleported away.

After exiting the main hall, James demonstrated the Terrastride step and flew straight into the black and white masses of gas holding the Direguard Lock.

Sounds of thunder rumbling came from the masses of gas. After a brief moment,

a deafening noise rang out.

Simultaneously, the black and white lights emitted from the gases went out. The masses of gas slowly disappeared as well.

James was left levitating in the spot where the masses of gas were. He was

holding a shiny rope in his hand.

Just then, Herodias and Yegor shot up in the air. James could hear their excited

laughs as the couple headed in the direction of Zymurgy.

"I hope you'll be able to hold her long enough," James muttered. Then, he

teleported and vanished from the spot.
