Chapter 6909
After a while, James bowed three times in a row. Just as he was about to take action, the temple’s door swung open.
A multicolored divine light emerged from within the Taishi Grand Temple.
Observing the unfolding spectacle, the handsome young man stood dumbfounded for a moment before ascending the staircase leading up to the temple. Each stride was deliberate until he reached the open temple door. With ease, he stepped inside, vanishing into the vibrant hues of divine light.
A flash of colorful radiance engulfed the temple entrance, and the door was sealed shut, reverting to its original state.
Only then did Morgott and Yehria cautiously emerge from their concealment among the ruins. They gazed at the Taishi Grand Temple with bewilderment.
After a moment, Yehria asked angrily, "How did that brat waltz in so effortlessly?"
Morgott's eyes sparkled with admiration as he chuckled, ‘That's James for you. Even Taishi has to show deference and open the doors for him."
Yehria shot him a fierce glare. "Whose side are you on?"
Morgott replied, "Yours, of course."
Yehria retorted, ‘Then why are you praising that bastard James?”
Morgott argued, "You shouldn't be so vulgar. I'm simply respecting the strong. If you’re so jealous, why not become as strong as him?”
Yehria seated with frustration, "Enough nonsense. Do you think he noticed us?"
Morgott scoffed, "Ha! Do you think we'd still be safe if he discovered US?"
Yehria was momentarily at a loss for words.
Morgott took out a jar of wine, took a sip, and said, "Don’t worry. Although they've crumbled, these used to be Taishi Sacred Mountains. They’re able to conceal US."
Yehria sighed in relief and suggested, "Well, let's wait for him here. He's definitely after the Xloria Taihshi Pearls. Once he comes out, we'll strike and seize the pearl. Then, we'll force him to help me regain my Xyloria Tai Chi Axe and your remaining spirit.” Morgott, who had just taken a sip of wine, suddenly spat it at Yehria's face.
"What the heck?" Yehria protested, wiping the wine from her face.
Morgott looked at her in shock and asked, "What are you thinking? Did | hear you correctly? You want to attack James when he leaves?" "Are you scared?" Yehria taunted him.
Morgott retorted coldly, "It's not about fear. It’s about going against a brick wall." "You..." Yehria began.
Morgott interjected, "Considering the disparity in strength, even with our powers, and we give birth to ten children, we'd still be pale compared to him. Engaging in such folly would only result in our demise."
Yehria scoffed, "And what if we have someone stronger go against him?"
Morgott looked at her and asked, "What do you mean?’ 's nothing. Let’s observe and wait,” Yehria dismissed him, then snatched the wine jar.
Then, she tilted her head back and took a long swig.
On the other hand, Morgott fell into thought.
Within the Taishi Grand Temple, James scanned the colorful divine lights around him.
