The Almighty Dragon General

Despite knowing that some of them had hidden agendas, Frona did not lose her temper.

Boom!

On the other hand, Xristian stamped his feet, sending violent tremors through the Summit of Leere.

"The Caeloros Supreme's words are absolute! How dare you..."

"I give you my word," Frona interrupted. "I'm willing to put my position as the Caeloros Supreme at stake. I assure you that James will eliminate his inner demon and return to the right path."

The Caeloros Gods wore expressions of bewilderment upon hearing those words.

Xristian tried to object, "Caeloros Supreme, this is..."

Frona signaled him to stop and looked at the others. "Everyone, is that a good enough reason?"

Most of the Caeloros Gods exchanged glances but kept silent.

Meanwhile, Yefrenes cast a brief gaze at the gray-haired elderly man and Quintinus. Then, she smiled at Frona. "We have no more objections since you're even willing to make a promise like that, Caeloros Supreme. However, I think we need to set a time limit..."

"Two entrapochs." Frona fixed her with an icy gaze. "Is that much time fine with you, Yefrenes?"

Frona's answer must have been somewhat shorter than Yefrenes had expected.

Her smile broadened after a short pause. "Of course, Caeloros Supreme. We will give James Caden another two entrapochs then." Yefrenes relaxed her lips and stopped smiling. Then, she turned around and walked away.

The gray-haired elderly man and Quintinus looked at Frona and grinned contemptuously. Then, the two of them strode off as well.

The remaining Caeloros Gods bowed deeply to Frona before leaving one after the other.

When they were left alone, Xristian stormed toward Frona. "You know very well what they are after! Why did you fall for their trap?

"You put the Caeloros Supreme's position at stake and asked for only two entrapochs. Have you lost your mind?"

Frona turned around and sat down again.

"I haven't lost my mind. James is the one who's probably losing his mind."

"Why did you do that, then?" Xristian was visibly agitated. "Are you planning on letting that sly Yefrenes have the Caeloros Supreme's position..."

"Xristian, do you not trust James?" Frona glanced over her shoulder at Xristian.

Xristian's brows twitched. "Of... Of course, I trust him. However, having him eliminate his inner demon in two entrapochs is just too..."

"He might not be able to do it alone," Frona replied. "However, the Yin governor, Taiyi, and Emperor Tapia, who have been sealed alongside James, can help him." "That won't be enough," Xristian said anxiously. "James is the strongest cultivator in all of Haleth Realm now..."

"What if I help him too?" Frona asked.

Xristian's eyes bulged in horror. "Caeloros Supreme, what are you..."

Frona let out a soft sigh. "Can you head outside and bring her in?"

Xristian opened his mouth but could not find the right words to say.

He knew what Frona's words meant. Yet, he never thought someone like Frona would make such a shocking decision for James' sake.

Most gods from the Xanadu Realm would not have the power or courage to enter the Haleth Realm.

Entering the Haleth Realm meant losing at least eighty percent of their cultivation and powers.

Even the invincible Caeloros Gods would become prey to the Haleth Realm's divine beings as soon as they showed up there in a weakened condition.

One would become nearly matchless if they devoured a god from the Xanadu Realm.

If a divine being managed to devour a Caeloros God, they would gain control of that particular Caeloros God Daoisms, instantly possessing powers equivalent to that of the Supreme Path. The Forty-Nine Daoisms were the foundations for the law and structure in the Haleth Realm.

There would be dire consequences if part of the Daoisms fell into the wrong hands.

Therefore, the gods and Caeloros Gods from the Xanadu Realm would normally send their Soremsia into the Haleth Realm.

They would never enter the Haleth Realm themselves, no matter how much they wanted to experience the fun on the other side.

Yet, the first person to declare they wanted to do it was none other than Frona, the leader of the Nine Caeloros Gods. Xristian was shocked out of his wits.

"I guess even you won't listen to me now either." Frona sighed as she watched Xristian stand there, unmoving. "Alright. I'll do it myself..."

"No." Xristian came to his senses and caught hold of Frona's arm.

"You can't do that. You might as well hand over the Caeloros Supreme's position to Yefrenes and the others if you did that..."

"What exactly did I do?" Frona asked.

"You haven't said it out loud, but I know what you're thinking." Xristian's voice shook a little. "Your Soremsia didn't return to you by exploding her body. "Instead, Retook a huge risk by -X passing through the Xyrisia Gate it's obvious that she wants to ask. you to save James in the Haleth Roctim. I won't let you do that..."

"Why did you save my Soremsia, then?" Frona asked this time, "Why didn't you just let her die in the Xyrisia Gate?"

Xristian was caught completely off g uard by that question.

"You should hurry and go to her now." Frona steered the conversation away. "With her severe injuries, she won't be able to climb to the Summit of Leere on her own." Xristian clenched his teeth. Then, he turned around and teleported off.

A brief moment later, a person in a bloodied, disheveled state appeared in the distance and limped slowly toward Frona.

The person seemed to be suffering immense pain with every step they took. They were bleeding so much that a trail of blood was left behind them.

Still, Frona did not get up to help the injured person. She remained in her seat, looking very much like a stone statue.

It was only when the person knelt before Frona that her brows twitched almost unnoticeably.

"Greetings to the Caeloros Supreme. Please save my master, Caeloros Supreme."

With the way she was addressing Frona, Lesia had clearly mistaken her for another god.

"How impertinent, my Solm Primordial Spirit." Frona heaved a deep breath. "Have you forgotten all your manners after spending all that time in the Haleth Realm?"

Lesia was momentarily stunned. Then, she slammed her forehead against the floor.

She did it over and over again while chanting please save my masterT Caeloros Supreme! Please save my master Caeloros Supreme! Please save my master, Caeloros o Supreme!" Lesia did not stop even when her forehead was bruised and cut.

Xristian, who was watching from afar, closed his eyes. He could not stand the sight of Lesia in that pitiable state.

She and Frona were initially one. Yet, they had very different opinions and stances now because of a living being from the Haleth Realm.

If Xristian were faced with the same situation, he probably would be at a loss for what to do.
