The Almighty Dragon General

The densely packed black and white bubbles floated in the void, each containing different versions of James. From the powerful Dragon General on Earth towhen he embarked on a path of cultivation, each represented his past experiences, hardships, the cycle of life and death, affection, and hatred. Friends and foes he encountered throughout his life emerged one by one.

Frona said emotionally, "After walking a long journey, people eventually forget why they set out in the first place. However, one of the Great Daoism is cause and effect, which records each living being's spoken words and deeds. Their fate is a result of their past actions.

"However, your biggest problem is not cause and effect. It's that you lack the determination to seek the peak of cultivation. In fact, it seems like you're not interested at all."

James did not refute her words. Instead, he felt like she understood him well despite being the leader of the Nine Caeloros Gods of Nothingness. She was much brighter than Lesia and knew him better than Thea. She was the very first person to recognize that cultivation did not hold a place in his heart.

Everyone had their own opinions on what Daoism was and believed in different rules. However, nobody could really define or clearly explain it.

The Book of Daoism had clearly stated that Daoism had no limits. The laws were ever-changing, and so were valid for Daoism as well. Therefore, there was no reason to adhere to the doctrines of any party, as none of them could be determined as the iron truth.

As long as it brought joy in a specific environment, it deserved to be one's respected Daoism. For example, James went through countless hardships and survived many near-death experiences because of his love for Thea. However, his determination and resolution today remained the same as the beginning. In a sense, his act could also be considered Daoism.

Though many would consider him unambitious, to James, it was meaningful and worthwhile.

Frona looked at James and took a deep breath. "Being tolerant makes one great. Being without desires makes one strong. This might be the essence of your virtue and sincerity.

"However, if you still think like this in your current position, it is a sin. It's no wonder the opponent could take advantage of your Inner Demon."

James opened his eyes and retorted, "I'm not as noble as you say. I'm not a saint, and I am not without desires!"

Frona questioned, "Do your desires match your current position and strength?"

James was at a loss for words.

Frona resigned, "You desire to stay, with your wife and children forever

In addition, you likely wish for your group of close friends and relatives to be able to live in happiness too."

James squinted and asked, "Does it bother anyone?"

Frona responded, "If you were an ordinary mortal, it wouldn't be a problem. owever, you've already become a god, one that could control the Greater Realm's affairs. Your words and actions determine the fate of the Greater Read's living being

"If your priority were still your family and friends, then selfishness would not be enough to describe youur crime After all, your actions would harm live and bring about disaster to

the Greater Realms." t James' face instantly darkened. Frona slowly stood up, looked at the numerous Inner Demons in the sky, and said, "Take a look. These figures represent

different stages of you throughout your life."
