Chapter 1020
“So, you’re just dumping her on me?” The heat that usually radiated from Lysander turned frosty in an instant, like a blizzard
striking in the heart of June, chilling to the core.
His eyes, once ablaze with irritation, now whipped with the cold of a bitter wind. The hand cradling her face unconsciously
tightened, and his veins stood out like cords against the skin on the back of his hands.
Thalassa tensed up at his husky and icy voice.
Swallowing hard, she said, “What if you get bored with me? Better to pass me on to a sister than some stranger, right?”
“That’s your game plan!” Lysander clenched his teeth, anger flaring in his gaze as his body temperature rose, threatening to
engulf them both in his fury.
“Since when do you decide who I’m with, Thalassa? You’ll soon find out if I’m tired of or not!”
Each word was practically ground out between his teeth.
With that, he kissed her fiercely.

“Mmph...” Thalassa’s breath was sealed by his lips. She wanted to struggle, but her entire body, including her head, was pinned
down on the bed by him. She was utterly
immobilized.
His kiss was relentless and forceful, sweeping away her breath and reason like a tornado. His heavy breathing filled her senses,
carrying his rage through her bloodstream, burning straight into her heart.
Her pulse raced, leaving her panicked, terrified.
He kissed her with more force and manipulation than ever before, as if trying to pour all
his breath and anger into her.
He wanted his strong masculine presence to occupy every corner of her body, including her heart, her blood, her very organs,
and every cell to be infused with his dominant aura.
Thalassa’s lips were swollen and numb from Lysander’s wrath.
Other than widening her eyes in shock, she could do nothing; she was as if sealed and unable to move.
Only when she was about to suffocate did Lysander finally release her.
As he let go, air rushed into her lungs. She gasped for breath, her mouth slightly open, her body limp and powerless. She
couldn’t have moved anymore even if Lysander weren’t

pinning her down.
A drunken haze seemed to gloss over Lysander’s deep eyes as he loomed over her on the bed. His hand traced down from her
face, along her cheek, her neck, and finally pausing at the buttons of her shirt...
Panicked, Thalassa quickly covered her neckline. “I’ll just run downstairs and grab a box of condoms.”
His movements stilled, and his gaze locked onto her, “Don’t you always carry birth control pills with you?”
Thalassa was slightly stunned. She had bought birth control pills for her mother once and lied to Lysander about always carrying
them for emergencies. She never thought he would remember, but it turned out he did.
“I didn’t bring them today,” she said, a hint of panic flickered in her eyes.
Lysander was furious, and with the drug he’d taken, his look was more dangerous and predatory.
“We’ll get them afterward.” Lysander reached to move her hands away.
In a flurry of anxiety, Thalassa grabbed his hands and said tensely, “You’re drugged right now. It may affect me. We should really
get protection first.”
Lysander’s intense stare made her heart race faster, as if it might break.
“You have three minutes.” he said, his voice cold and gravelly. He pulled his hand free from hers and looked away with a
detached air.
He swallowed hard, struggling to control the restlessness and heat coursing through his body.
