The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 1042
Thalassa offered a polite, charming smile. “Yep, quadruplets.”
“Ma’am, you’re incredible. Having twins is already quite a feat, but you’ve gone and had four at once!” The flight attendant was
brimming with warmth, her smile infectious as she struck up a conversation with Thalassa.
“Yup, my mom’s a superhero; she popped us four munchkins out just like that. And my dad’s pretty amazing too at reproduction.”
Elowen chimed in with her disarmingly cute nod, dropping a bombshell in her innocent chatter.
Thalassa’s eyes went wide, and she quickly covered Elowen’s little mouth, smiling awkwardly at the flight attendant. “We’ll all
have the lunch boxes, thank you.”
Elowen, the cutest and most animated of the bunch, must have picked up some interesting lingo from her playmates at
preschool to come out with such a statement.
Thalassa felt so embarrassed she could almost dig a hole with her toes.
“Here are your lunch boxes. Please enjoy your meal.” the flight attendant said, sensing Thalassa’s discomfort and tactfully not
pursuing the quadruplet topic any further.
After placing the lunch boxes on the tray tables, she gave Thalassa a nod and Elowen a look with adore and sympathy before
moving along with her cart.
“Um...” Elowen, whose mouth was still covered, stayed still. Her big, sparkling eyes rolled around, looking both shrewd and
adorably naive.
Realizing she was still covering her daughter’s mouth, Thalassa quickly removed her hand and caressed Elowen’s soft cheek,
her tone a mix of affection and resignation. “Sweetie, who taught you those things?”
“My friend Dylan.” Elowen explained in her tender, childish voice, “He knows my siblings and I are quads. He said my dad must
be super strong, and he’s jealous because he wants a brother or a sister too, but his dad doesn’t want to.”
Dylan again, that little rascal and Mr. Ethan’s nephew, always filling Elowen’s head with
such ideas.

How could such a young kid know so much?
Thalassa smiled and ruffled her little one’s hair. “Hungry, huh? Let’s eat.”
“Yeah, my tummy’s gonna cave in! I want to eat, and I think I could eat two portions.” Elowen declared, kneading her round belly.
Her expression was irresistibly endearing.
The other three tykes also craned their necks in anticipation of the meal.
10:52
Thalassa opened the lunch boxes for them one by one.
Behind them, Callum sat with Evelyn, both opting for lunch boxes from the flight attendant who, Callum noticed, was wearing a
headset.
Curiosity stirred within him; he’d flown plenty of times but had never seen an attendant dish out meals with a headset on.
This flight attendant was an anomaly, and it piqued Callum’s suspicions about her reasons for wearing it.

He had overheard her exchange with Thalassa after all, on a plane, the confined space made every conversation crystal clear.
The attendant had been marveling at Thalassa’s quadruplet, seemingly innocuous, but Callum sensed something off.
Two hours later, the plane touched down safely at Weston Country Airport.
Callum led them out of the terminal where a car was already waiting.
“Please get in, and I’m taking you all somewhere.” Callum said.
