The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 668
Lysander recalled that this was the name of the little boy Elowen had mentioned yesterday.
The little boy might have swept his daughter off her feet.
Lysander cast a deep, penetrating gaze at Thalassa.
Thalassa didn’t know why she felt nervous. She was simply going through a test paper.
Even if Lysander saw it, it wouldn’t matter. Yet, when she saw him, she instinctively hid the rest of the study material.
It felt as if she weren’t allowed to do anything in front of him unless it was to cater to his physiological needs.
His powerful aura invaded her space, prompting her to instinctively hide anything that didn’t concern him, fearing what would
happen if he discovered them.
Under Lysander’s oppressive gaze, Thalassa tried to nervously explain. “He’s Mr. Ethan’s nephew. Mr. Ethan asked me to tutor
him in Spanish. I was planning to understand all the questions today, so I could explain them to him tomorrow.”
“So why are you hiding?” Lysander’s deep gaze scrutinized her, not giving her a chance to dodge his questions.
“I don’t know. It’s just an instinctive reaction.” Thalassa confessed honestly.
Wasn’t it because you scare me? She thought.
Every time she had any interaction with others or did anything unrelated to him in his presence, it would become a reason for
him to punish her.
She was traumatized.
Lysander saw that she was looking at him without any guilt. His eyes darkened slightly, and he casually threw the exam paper on
the nightstand. “It’s late. Go to sleep.”
“But I haven’t understood this paper yet. I won’t be able to tutor him tomorrow.” Thalassa didn’t want to sleep yet.
It was only ten o’clock. If he couldn’t sleep and wanted to do some other things...

Thalassa tried to delay the inevitable as much as possible, hoping that both of them would be too tired to do anything else but
sleep.
“Then don’t tutor him.” Lysander loosened his tie, speaking nonchalantly.
Thalassa’s heart raced as she watched him remove his tie, and she instinctively moved closer to get back the paper. “But it’s my
job.”
Lysander hung his tie on the hanger and began unbuttoning his shirt, revealing his firm collarbone, lean chest, and clearly
defined abs, which were a sight for Thalassa’s
eyes.
His manly scent spread invisibly in the air.
Her heart raced even faster, and she gripped the bed sheet tightly and swallowed hard.
Lysander was indeed in great shape. He was tall, strong, and noble. His muscles were well-defined but not showy, exuding a
lean and powerful beauty.
Just looking at him was enough to make one blush.
Thalassa’s breathing became more hurried and unstable. She mentally prepared herself to withstand whatever was to come
next.
Once Lysander removed his shirt, Thalassa quickly closed her eyes.
Lysander took a glance at her, noticing her tense and nervous look. He tossed his shirt on the hanger and strode into the
bathroom, leaving Thalassa alone.
After hearing the door close, Thalassa finally opened her eyes.
Lysander’s tall figure was no longer there, and the sound of running water came from the bathroom.
She realized that Lysander had gone to take a shower.
She took a deep breath and continued going through the paper.

When Lysander came out of the shower with wet hair, he saw Thalassa biting her finger and furrowing her brows in concentration
as she stared at the exam paper in frustration.
Seeing her so focused and serious was somewhat endearing.
Lysander approached her and spoke, but his deep voice seemed to have been muffled by the steam.
“What don’t you understand?”
His sudden question startled Thalassa. She looked at Lysander as her eyes widened in surprise at the sight of his abs, which
were still glistening from the water and reflecting a sensual glow that made her heart race.
Thalassa felt a sudden heat surge up from her heart, making her face feel hot, like she had just been soaked in hot water. Her
nose was ready to bleed at any second.
Thalassa was caught off guard by this alluring sight, leaving her startled. Her breath hitched, and she quickly lowered her head
to avoid looking at him.
She stuttered, “I...I don’t understand the...the grammar.”
