The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 695
The maid quickly lowered her head, diminishing her presence and gingerly backing away.
Upon seeing Lysander approach, Thalassa started to feel intimidated as his towering figure got closer and closer. She forced a
smile, acknowledging her fault. “I understand. This oatmeal looks rather appetizing; I’m sure I can finish it.”
With that, she scooped a spoonful of oatmeal into her mouth and then looked up at Lysander with a face full of surprise. “Mmm!
It’s delicious. The texture is smooth, and the taste is light and savory. It’s truly delicious.”
Lysander stared at her without blinking or uttering a word.
Under his watchful gaze, Thalassa finished the entire bowl of oatmeal in no time.
She also gulped down the glass of water.
Lysander took a black bottle of pills from the table and placed it in front of her. “Three times a day, six pills each time. Remember
to take them on time.”
After instructing her on what to do, he turned and left.
Thalassa fell silent.
Why didn’t he say so earlier? She had finished all the water. Surely he didn’t expect her to swallow six pills dry?
The pills were about the size of marbles. Even if she attempted to swallow them without water, she wouldn’t be able to.
She didn’t have the courage to stop Lysander as she watched him exit the room.
His aura was so strong that it took a lot of courage just to call out his name. How could she stop him and talk to him just to
complain about swallowing pills?
Luckily, not long after Lysander left the room, the maid came in with a pitcher of water and a glass.
After placing the pitcher and the glass on the coffee table, the maid picked up her empty bowl to leave.
Thalassa asked, “Where is Lysander?”

“Lysander has stepped out.” The maid answered.
Thalassa nodded. Lysander must have gone to the office. With him gone, she felt slightly more at ease.
But now that severe pain shot throughout her body every time her foot touched the floor, was she supposed to sit here all day?
Half an hour later, the maid brought in a pair of crutches. “Ms. Everhart, there’s a landline in the room. If you need anything, just
dial the intercom, and we’ll come up immediately.”
Thalassa looked towards the landline, noticing the label for the intercom on the asterisk key.
“Alright, thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” The maid left after placing the crutches against the couch.
Thalassa tried the crutches. They were useful, so at least she could walk now.
She quickly contacted the real estate agent to sell the villa she had just registered.
She had received this villa from Bruce to recover the billion.
As it was newly purchased and not yet a year old, there was no transfer fee, enabling the quick sale of the house. By the
afternoon, the agent informed her that someone wanted to buy the villa and asked her to handle the paperwork.
Thalassa arrived at the property registry office with the help of her crutches. She didn’t see the buyer, just the agent.
Thalassa was puzzled. “Where is the buyer?”
She was already ten minutes late. Could the buyer be later than her?
The agent replied, “The buyer has gone to the bank to finalize the payment. He has authorized me to handle the transfer.”
‘Can a transfer be authorized?” Thalassa was confused!
Just as she finished speaking, her phone vibrated. She saw a bank transfer notification for a billion dollars.
Did the buyer really transfer the money to her, just like that?
If so, why didn’t he show up for the transfer himself instead of giving authorization to someone else?

‘As long as the documents are complete, authorization is possible.” The agent politely explained.
Thalassa still felt like something was wrong. “Can I see the buyer’s information?”
“I’m sorry, but we’ve signed a contract to keep the buyer’s information confidential. The agent apologized while remaining polite.
