Chapter 752
Thalassa’s eyelashes fluttered, her heart tightening.
She was about to push him away when Lysander’s kiss withdrew, as though he only wanted a taste of her sweetness and not
anything more.
His large hand gently stroked her face as the rough texture of his palm warmed against her cheek. His thumb caressed her
delicate cheek in a gentle
manner.
His deep voice breathed out onto her face, “Do you want something from me?”
His voice was low and husky, making Thalassa’s ears tremble. Her breath was also hitching. She quickly denied, “No... I don’t...”
“Your sensitive body is telling a different story, though,” Lysander rested his forehead against hers as his hand gently stroked her
cheek.
The feeling was intimate, sensual, and heart-stirring.
Thalassa’s cheeks felt tingly and warm under his touch, her breathing growing ragged.
She realized that he was still aroused because of her words from yesterday; the thought quickened her heartbeat. She avoided
his gaze, removed his hand, and turned away, “The kids are waiting for me. I need to get up.”
She got off the bed from the other side and rushed into the bathroom, not daring to look back at Lysander.
She had said those words to win the freedom to visit the kids last night. She never thought she would end up longing for
Lysander.
Her words were like a spark that ignited a wildfire in him, making him go uncontrollable.
She could feel his passion during the never-ending sex they had.
After washing up, she went downstairs. Four pairs of young eyes were looking at her expectantly, clearly wanting to visit Evelyn.
Thalassa walked over and sat down across from them, smiling softly, “Let’s eat. After we finish, we’ll go visit.”
“Okay, I want to bring a slice of strawberry tiramisu for grandma,” Elowen nodded eagerly, not forgetting to bring her favorite
dessert for her grandma.
Kids’ minds were pure. Sharing their favorite things with others showed their deep affection.
“I want to bring the circular pendant I just fixed for grandma. She really likes it.” Sophia’s soft voice chimed in. Her eyes were
twinkling with excitement since she couldn’t wait to show off her achievement.
“I’ll give grandma a massage, Dorian raised his hand enthusiastically.
“I’ll help do some chores,” Atticus chimed in.
Thalassa felt both pleased and proud; warmth filled her heart.
“Alright, let’s eat quickly and then we can go back.”
“Okay,” Elowen nodded eagerly and started digging in.
As Thalassa was about to join them, she saw Lysander descending the stairs out of the corner of her eye. The sight of his
intimidating presence made her heart sink; her smile faded slightly.
They were all talking about going to see the kids’ grandmother, but Lysander hadn’t agreed yet.
What if he refused? All their plans would be ruined.
Lysander’s grim eyes rested on Thalassa as he sat down at the dining table without a word and began to eat.
Thalassa kept her head down and quietly ate.
As they were almost finished eating, Thalassa was wondering how to approach Lysander about letting her take the kids to visit.
What should she say to increase her chances of success?
“Once you’re done eating, pack up. The chauffeur will take you,” Lysander’s deep voice suddenly broke the silence. He then
casually wiped his mouth with a napkin.
Thalassa was taken aback with joy and quickly nodded, “Alright, we’ll pack up right away. It won’t take long.”
