The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 755
“Mr. Ethan is pushing me for the contract. We gotta hurry up.” Betty’s words were rushed; her expression was fraught with
anxiety as well.
She wanted to make a good impression in front of Ethan to get another chance to be close to him.
“I’ll ask in the afternoon,” Thalassa replied.
“Don’t wait for this afternoon. Just go now!” Betty was impatient.
“But I still have work to do...”
“I’ll do it for you,” Betty immediately took the files from Thalassa’s hands with a look of encouragement on her face. “When you
successfully sign the contract, I’ll treat you to a nice dinner.”
“Alright, I’ll go now,” Thalassa agreed.
After all, she had eaten her breakfast and promised her to ask if the contract could be signed. Since she had promised, she
would do her best. Thalassa took the contract and arrived at the Sinclair group.
After explaining her purpose to the receptionist, the lady happily told Thalassa after she called David, “You can go and see Mr.
Sinclair now.” “Okay. Thank you.”
“Why thank me? It’s just my job.”
Thalassa took the elevator up to the highest floor, where David was waiting for her.
“Ms. Everhart, we meet again.”
“Indeed, David. Is Mr. Sinclair in a good mood today?” Thalassa asked casually as she walked with David.
David remained silent.
“What’s wrong?” Thalassa asked, curious.
“Ms. Everhart, I dare not answer your questions lightly. If it’s another trap, I might fall into it without even realizing,” David said.

“Um, I’m sorry, David. I was just under pressure.” Thalassa scratched her hair in her embarrassment.
“Here is the CEO’s office. Please go in,” David said, standing at the door with a respectful tone.
“Thank you, David. I’ll treat you to lunch sometime.” Thalassa responded with a polite smile.
David nodded slightly without saying anything and left.
Thalassa retracted her gaze. She took a deep breath, prepared herself mentally, and knocked on the door.
“Come in,” a deep voice sounded.
Thalassa walked into Lysander Sinclair’s office where he sat in a handcrafted black suit. He was exuding an aura of wealth,
elegance, and authority. He was reviewing some documents.
Thalassa took a deep breath and approached the desk, stopping a few inches away, “Mr. Sinclair, I’m Thalassa, Ethan Crawley’s
secretary. The Crawley Group has a project which they would like to collaborate on with the Sinclair Group.”
She was here on behalf of the Crawley Group so she carried an official tone.
Lysander looked up from his documents. He riveted his deep-set eyes on Thalassa, who was standing straight and serious; she
was holding a folder in her hands and carrying a professional demeanor.
He set down his documents, got up, and walked towards her.
His tall, imposing figure approached, making the air around Thalassa feel thin. She held her breath and blinked, “Mr. Sinclair...”
Lysander stood in front of her and lifted her chin with his index finger. “I only want to work with you.”
“What?” Thalassa was forced to look up at him, her eyes filled with confusion.
She didn’t understand what he meant by “only wanting to work with her”. She didn’t have a project to negotiate with him.
Lysander’s deep gaze intensified, his voice husky, “You already knew how to persuade me to collaborate before you came,
right?” “Mr. Sinclair, please look at the contract first,...” Thalassa turned her face away, avoiding his finger, and handed him the
contract. Lysander didn’t even glance at the contract, his deep-set eyes fixed on hers. “Will you do it willingly, or should! make
you?”
