The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 830
Leopold’s eyes twinkled for a moment. Her laughter was like a bright sunlight, which pierced into the deepest regrets he buried in
his heart. That caused a throbbing pain inside him.
Yet, he didn’t let it show. A sunny smile was still on his lips as he said, “I know they are your treasures, the most important
consideration in your future decisions. Go peruse the books; you can’t just come in here for nothing.”
Saying this, he took the lead towards the bookshelves filled with various books.
He deeply understood that right now, the most important people in Thalassa’s life were her four kids, who occupied her entire
world.
That was why she endured the humiliation of staying by Lysander’s side.
Lysander used her four kids as leverage, forcing her to give up the right to choose the one she loved.
He vowed to change the status quo and to help Thalassa and her kids escape from the torment of Lysander.
Thalassa picked up a book on secretarial case studies from the bookshelf and began flipping through it.
Halfway through, she felt a shadow loom over her.
Looking up, she saw Leopold standing before her and blocking the sunlight streaming in from the window with his hand.
She was engrossed in her book while he watched her with an intense gaze.
Seeing him standing motionless, shielding her from the glaring sunlight, Thalassa asked in surprise, “What are you doing?”
“Blocking the sun. Direct sunlight is not only blinding but can also cause tanning. I’m saving you some sunscreen money,”
Leopold said, a smile playing on his lips.
Thalassa was suddenly amused by his words, “I’ve already applied sunscreen; you blocking the sun won’t save me any money.”
“Well, prevention is better than cure. Sunscreen doesn’t last forever,” Leopold countered.
Checking the time on her phone, Thalassa was taken aback to find it was already two in the afternoon.

“I have to get back to work; if Mr. Ethan finds out, he’ll accuse me of slacking off during work hours,” Thalassa said as she put
down her book and headed out.
Ethan had originally sent her to inspect Leossa Electronics for any irregularities, but she had ended up at Starhaven College
instead.
If Ethan found out, he would definitely scold her.
Thalassa was not the type to deliberately slack off at work; her sense of responsibility was strong and she was already feeling
guilty for taking so much time off.
Knowing Thalassa well, Leopold didn’t hold her back; instead, he offered to drop her back at the Crawley Group.
“No need. You get going. I’ll just take a cab,” Thalassa declined.
Without hesitation, Leopold grabbed her wrist and led her to his car. His actions were assertive, giving her no opportunity to hail
a cab.
Thalassa had no choice but to go along.
As they drove up to the entrance of the Crawley Group, Thalassa opened the car door to get out, reminding Leopold, “Drive
safe.” Hearing her words of concern, his heart pounded and his gaze deepened as his grip on the steering wheel tightened.
In the end, he clenched his teeth and drove off without responding to Thalassa’s words.
Watching his car drive away, Thalassa turned and headed towards the office building.
Ethan was in his office, looking out at the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows when he noticed Thalassa returning in a silver
car. Being a man of high society and a lover of luxury cars, Ethan immediately recognized the car’s value.
Who drove a silver car again?
It was Leopold!
It was him!
