The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 970
If Lysander were to discover that Bruce had brought her to the hotel, kidnapped her, and even had plans to take advantage of
her, Lysander, being so clever, would have undoubtedly realized that Bruce was not her father.
But what haunted Thalassa the most was the video in Bruce’s possession.
Before leaving, Bruce had darkly threatened her. If Lysander ever discovered that he had taken her to the hotel, he would
unleash that video across all major social media platforms, making Evelyn the star, the center of a scandalous viral sensation.
For Evelyn, this type of attention could be deadly.
Thalassa could never shake off the memory of Evelyn’s breakdown, the way she had tried to hang herself. The fear and
shadows that incident cast were profound.
If the video went public, Evelyn would be cyber bullied, heckled every time she set foot outside the house.
Evelyn always cared about keeping up appearances. If she became the butt of every joke, the subject of scornful remarks, she’d
never survive it. What extreme lengths might she go to in order to escape the humiliation?
These thoughts sent shivers down Thalassa’s spine and a painful clench to her heart.
She couldn’t bear to witness such a tragedy unfold. It simply couldn’t happen.
“My stomach... it hurts so much...” Thalassa suddenly halted, clutching her abdomen with a pained expression on her face.
Lysander also stopped, his inscrutable gaze turning towards her.
The icy pressure of his stare felt like a block of ice smashing down on her head, sending tingles across her scalp. As she looked
up into his deep, abyss-like eyes, they seemed to swirl with a pull so strong that it could devour a soul.
Thalassa’s heart skipped a beat, her pupils constricted, and her gaze involuntarily darted away as she pleaded, “Can you take
me to the hospital first? My stomach really hurts.”
Lysander remained silent, his penetrating gaze fixed on her, a silent but overpowering presence.
Under his wordless scrutiny, Thalassa felt her defenses crumbling, her heart racing faster and faster.

Just as she was about to break, ready to say forget it to the hospital visit, Lysander took out his phone and made a call. His deep
voice resonated, “Dr. Everest, I’m sending you a location. Be there in ten. Female, abdominal pain.”
With that, he hung up.
Thalassa was stunned, her mouth agape. She had hoped to get Lysander to take her to the hospital as a diversion, to keep him
from checking the surveillance footage.
But he’d summoned Dr. Everest on the spot.
If Dr. Everest arrived and discovered her lie...
Before the doctor even arrived, Thalassa was already consumed by anxiety.
“Can you walk?” Lysander’s cool voice floated down to her.
Thalassa snapped back to reality, looking into his deep eyes, frosty and unwavering.
It sent a chill through her, her teeth almost chattering as she replied, “Yes.”
Lysander’s firm grip enclosed her wrist, guiding her forward with unyielding intent towards the security office.
His rough palm conveyed absolute strength, enough to snap her wrist with the slightest mishap.
Thalassa endured his suppressed anger, dare not resist, nor entertain any further schemes.
She had no choice but to comply.
The closer they got to the security office, the tighter her heart wound, the more frantic she felt.
Fearing the exposure of the video – the threat to her mother’s life.
But reality was often cruel, and despite her panic, she found herself dragged into the security office by Lysander.
Joining them were the hotel manager, Callum, and several bodyguards.
The security staff booted up the monitors.
On the screens, the surveillance footage began to play out.
