Chapter 985
So, her phone was in Lysander’s clutches?
Bruce had called her a few times, and although she hadn’t saved his number, the call log was still accessible.
Not having memorized Bruce’s number meant she had to retrieve her phone- a task that required another trip to Lysander.
At that thought, Thalassa sighed inwardly- a sigh of quiet resignation.
But that was okay. With a lead on how to delete the video, all she needed to do was focus and push forward.
It was better than before when she was utterly lost, not knowing where to start, completely at Bruce’s mercy.
“Atticus, I don’t have the man’s phone number or IP address yet, but once I do, we’ll look into it together. You’ll help Mommy wipe
everything from his phone and computer,” Thalassa told Atticus.
The other three little cherubs looked on with their bright, earnest eyes, aware that something important was being discussed.
They didn’t interrupt, just watched silently, their cuteness almost heart-wrenching.
“Sure thing, Mommy. Give me the number and address when you can, and I’ll take care of it,” Atticus promised confidently, sure
of his skills.
“Great, I’ll get it to you as soon as possible. Remember, this is our little secret, just between us. Don’t let Daddy know,” Thalassa
reminded them, her tone serious, her gaze briefly sweeping over the other three.
“Is it a secret?” piped up Elowen, her large, sparkling eyes wide with curiosity.
“Absolutely. Daddy can’t know, nor Fitch, nor any of the other staff, Thalassa repeated firmly, emphasizing the gravity of the
situation.
“Mommy’s the word; I won’t tell. It’s our secret, and nothing will make me spill,” Atticus said earnestly, zipping his lips with his
finger, a universal sign of silence.
Thalassa trusted Atticus to keep a secret; he had always been mature for his age and understood the importance of discretion.
What concerned her was Elowen. Sweet, but a bit of a scatterbrain, Elowen sometimes spoke without thinking.
Thalassa feared that in an absent-minded moment, Elowen might unintentionally reveal something to Lysander. And given
Lysander’s cleverness, even the slightest hint could arouse his suspicion.
When Thalassa’s questioning eyes met Elowen’s, the little girl seemed confused for a moment before she covered her mouth
with her chubby hand and mumbling, “I won’t tell...”
“I’m the best at keeping secrets,” declared Dorian.
“I won’t say a word,” Sophia assured with her clear, innocent eyes earnestly looking at Thalassa.
“I trust my little treasures. Come on, let’s get you to school,” Thalassa stood up.
The four tots hopped off the bench like a little train, following Thalassa, toddling forward with their short legs and tiny bodies
waddling like a line of adorable penguins.
“Oh my, aren’t these kids just picture-perfect, like little angels,” gasped a lady who had been jogging in the park. She stopped in
her tracks, her eyes twinkling with affection..
From her voice, you could tell she was almost swooning over them.
The four little ones weren’t just cute and cuddly; they possessed a celestial beauty that captured the gaze of anyone who looked
their way.
“Hi, we’re quadruplets. This is my older brother, and behind are my two little sisters,” Dorian explained sweetly to the jogging
lady.
