James thought that Elaine couldn’t wait to go out, so he looked excited.
“According to my informant in the NYPD, the woman has confessed to the police what she did, and the police can now basically
confirm that you are innocent.

But the police still need to go further with some legal process, and when it’s over, you’ll be issued a certificate that you really
didn’t know anything about it.
Then a document will be sent to Bedford Hills Correctional Institution, and then you’ll be free.”
