Lisa smiled and said, “Brother Charlie, don’t forget, Claudia’s mom is from Aurous Hill.
You could say that Aurous Hill is Claudia’s grandma’s house.”
Charlie laughed and asked, “Are there any relatives in Aurous Hill?”
Claudia shook her head and replied, “No, my grandparents are gone, and my uncle is abroad.
We don’t have much contact, so basically there are no relatives around.
The ones we do have are distant and I haven’t met most of them.”
Charlie chuckled and said, “It’s okay, you have Mrs.Lewis, Lisa, and me.
We’re all your relatives.”
Claudia was touched and nodded eagerly.
Charlie then introduced Mrs.Lewis to Elaine, “Mom, this is Mrs.Lewis from the orphanage.
I’m sure you’ve heard me talk about her.”
Elaine looked at Mrs.Lewis with surprise and said, “I’ve heard of her! I used to hear Charlie talk about you all the time!”
As she spoke, Elaine couldn’t help but think back to the time when Old Mrs.Wilson had her birthday.
Charlie had suddenly asked Elaine to lend one million to Mrs.Lewis for medical treatment at the birthday banquet.

While Claudia appeared relaxed and engaged in conversation with Lisa, Charlie detected hints of nervousness in her demeanor.

country to start a new life in a city more than 10,000 kilometers away.

Charlie had previously arranged for Isaac Cameron to pick up Mrs.Lewis and the girls at the villa that had been prepared for their
arrival.
