Bryan was keenly aware of the change of expression in Jeremy's face. He

you can't even find a moment to reply in the last few hours?!" she said with a
sneer.
Jeremy was silent. It was true that he had no chance to reply.

Mommy."

how risky it is for you to be here right now? Sophia could barge in anytime! Do
you really want her to find out you're here?"
Corinne scoffed. "What are you afraid of? The only person she'll be getting rid of
when she finds out is me. She couldn't possibly bear to do anything to you since
she loves you so much.”
