The Day I Kissed An Older Man

Melody smiled faintly, understanding why Thalia was so resentful. The man who had been so intimate with her just last night was now showing concern for another woman in front of her. She would probably feel angry too if the roles were reversed.
"It's alright," she said calmly.
The atmosphere became even more awkward once they got into the car, but Sherman took the initiative to break the silence.
"How's the filming going? How long until we can see your work on the big screen? I'm really looking forward to it!"
What Sherman said echoed Melody's own thoughts. Despite hearing plenty of praise from those around her during the filming, she knew that the true test would come when the movie hit the theaters. Only ther would they know the real outcome of their efforts. While a film's success could not solely be judged by box office numbers, they still served as an indicator of public reception.
"We are past the halfway mark. It has been smooth sailing since the incident with Tracy has been cleared up. At this rate, we should finish filming in about two months. However, there's still post-production work after that, so it won't be ready for release so soon," Melody explained.
A movie had to go through an incredibly complex process for it to eventually make its way to the theaters. Even though their scenes were done, it would only be half the work, as post-production work was often lengthy and intricate. However, with Shaun overseeing everything, Melody and the rest of the team were not too concerned about it.
"Oh, I completely forgot that Melody is still filming. How's it going? Is the set fun? Is the actors' life really different? Melody, can I visit your set next time? I've never been to a film set before!" Thalia exclaimed. Melody smiled; the film set was her workplace, not a place for anyone to drop by casually. Before she could respond, Lucas interjected, "They're busy filming every day. What would you do there? Don't cause trouble."
Thalia rolled her eyes, visibly dissatisfied. "Lucas, I just want to see how filming works! Can't you bring me? Otherwise, why were you at the set today?"
Lucas did not want to reveal why he was at the set. He glanced at Melody sitting in the back through the rearview mirror. Unfortunately, Melody's gaze was not on him; instead, she was looking out the window. As they continued their conversation, Melody began to feel tired and found more enjoyment in gazing at the scenery outside.
"Does your leg hurt when you film?" Sherman was still worried.
After all, Melody felt a great deal of pain, even with just a light pressure on her foot, and it was not possible to sit all day on set. Thus, Sherman could not help but worry how Melody would get through the day. Turning back to face him, Melody reassured him, "You don't need to worry, Sherman. Most of my scenes now involve lying down or sitting. Mister Shaun and the crew take good care of me as well. Besides, it's just a sprain. I'll be back in tip-top condition after a few more days of rest."
She was not worried about her leg; rather, she was concerned that it would delay the filming schedule if the sprain did not heal soon. Shaun had deliberately rearranged the filming schedule to accommodate her injury, but the upcoming scenes required her standing.
