"If I were you, I'd choose to stop here, turn myself in, and repent for my crimes!" Lucas said indifferently, but secretly, his palms were sweating.
He had to appear nonchalant to divert Thalia's attention away from Melody. He feared that she might act out and hurt Melody.
"Hahaha... Lucas, don't you think it's too late to say such things now? Repent? What's the use of repenting now?"
Lucas frowned and asked her if she was not afraid of Claudia coming back to haunt her in her dreams.
