The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

"Carrie has always had a natural talent for art, especially painting. It seems like she could have a promising career as an artist.
Have you ever considered supporting her passion more seriously? Why didn't you hire a teacher to teach her painting? Why
didn't you send her to further her studies at an advanced institution? Is her talent just a source of entertainment for you? Do you
realize that spending all your time together might be holding her back from reaching her full potential?"
Ryan's chest ached and throbbed with pain. "I never held Carrie back... I never stopped her. It's always been Carrie for me my
whole life! You and Justin knew right from the beginning that I wanted to marry her!"
"Why bother marrying her? You would just be repeating the same thing, or possibly even worse."
Bella shook her head in disappointment. "If you're not capable of taking care of Carrie, then you shouldn't have made such grand
promises. This might not be the first time, but it's definitely the most serious. In the years to come, who knows how many more
times there will be? Can you deal with it? Can you stick with it? You're not a naturally patient person. You've only been
understanding and enduring because things are still new and exciting with Carrie right now!"
She continued, "But will you still look after Carrie with the same level of commitment in ten or twenty years when your love and
patience have been tested? Will you still kneel on the ground and hold her and comfort her like today?"
"I will! Why wouldn't I be able to?!" Ryan's voice was hoarse and harsh as he yelled at her, "Bella... I know I'm not a good person.
I know I haven't done nearly enough for Carrie... But you shouldn't doubt my love for her! You shouldn't insult me with such
accusations!"
"Ryan, stop it!"
Justin quickly stepped forward and put his arms around Bella to protect her while keeping a steady gaze on Ryan.
"Bella didn't mean it like that. She's just worried about Carrie. In the past, including myself, no one in the Salvador family has
ever truly cared for Carrie. Bella was the only one who had consistently been there for her and truly cared for her well-being.
Seeing Carrie suffer hurts Bella just as much as it hurts you. Her words may sound tough, but they come from a place of love."
Bella pressed her parched lips together, feeling the burn in her throat from arguing with Ryan earlier. She knew she had been too
harsh, but she was genuinely worried about Carrie's well-being.
She had no intention to drive them apart, but the current state of their relationship was evidently not healthy. Carrie's condition
was making it hard for her to keep the emotional balance, so she needed to snap Ryan out of it. Otherwise, they'd keep hurting
each other without meaning to.

"Autism is divided into two types-hypersensitivity and hyposensitivity. Unfortunately, Carrie falls into the former category. It's often
because of her overly delicate thoughts and heightened empathy compared to ordinary people that she's easily triggered,
leading to uncontrollable actions."
Bella rested against Justin's chest, looking less tense now. With a serious expression on her face, she said, "Plus, Shannon is
her mother. Even though Shannon is an unforgivable murderous devil, it's important to remember that she was the one who
raised Carrie. Carrie would certainly break down after hearing that her own mother was sentenced to death for killing the mother
of her beloved brother. You should have seen this coming."
Ryan clenched his fists tightly, his gaze becoming scattered and unfocused. "Carrie said that she wanted to go see Shannon. I
refused, so things ended up like this. Did I really make a mistake?" Bella and Justin exchanged glances, both sighing in unison.
After a moment of contemplation, Justin moved closer and placed his big hand on Ryan's shoulder. "Ryan, take Carrie to see
Shannon. It makes sense for her to say goodbye since they're mother and daughter, not just emotionally but also biologically.
Carrie should bid her farewell."
Ryan looked startled, filled with inner turmoil. "But... Shannon is your enemy..."
"That's unrelated. Besides, we've already gotten our revenge, and Shannon has paid the price for it. It's enough." Justin smiled
faintly, his dark eyes showing a hint of relief.
