The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Ryan felt like he'd been shot in the heart, and he was visibly shaken by the pain.
Justin said, "In the Salvador family, she had no independence and lived an unhappy life. Now that she's with you, her whole life
is dictated by you and revolves around your wishes. It's too much. I don't think it's healthy for her to be so submissive."
Justin closed his eyes and took a sip of wine. "Maybe both of you need some time apart to cool off and really think about how to
move forward in this relationship."
"Justin... Do you hear yourself?!" Ryan slammed his hands on the table, causing the wine in the decanter to ripple. His eyes
were crimson, more intense than the red wine.
"When you pursued Bella, I never left your side during your toughest times! It's fine if you won't support me now... Are you asking
me to give up?"
Ryan's voice cracked with pain and bitterness.
"In your eyes, I am just a reckless and irresponsible bastard who abandons things halfway, right? You never really wanted Carrie
and me to be together... From the very beginning, you never truly intended to entrust Carrie to me! I've just wasted my time with
you!"
Justin frowned and said, "Ryan, you're approaching this too one-sidedly."
"If it was Bella and I asked you to let her go and take a step back or give her up... Let me ask you, Justin, could you?!" Ryan's
laughter was filled with pain.
"You couldn't, right? Losing Bella would be like losing your soul, wouldn't it? Well, it's the same for me. If I lost Carrie, what would
be the point of living? When you suggest reconsidering this relationship or taking Carrie away from me... You're not just hurting
me. It feels like you're tearing me apart!"
"Bella and Carrie are different. How much can Carrie endure? Forget about enduring. Even a slight shock could make her world
collapse!" Justin's eyes darkened, his current worry and anxiety resembling that of a father choosing a son-in-law for his
daughter.
"What ordinary people can endure, she can't. What ordinary people can withstand, she can't handle. To love her, you need
courage, perseverance, and patience that are a million times greater than normal. But today, your actions have clearly shown
impatience. Otherwise, you wouldn't have dealt with the situation so forcefully!"

Ryan felt a sudden surge of coldness in his heart. He realized he was at fault this time, and there was no one else to blame but
himself.
Amidst the tense atmosphere, a loud and distinct voice interrupted them. "What's with all the noise at this hour?"
Both men looked up to see Bella standing in the living room, her hand on her hip, her gaze piercing. "Carrie is awake now, but
she's feeling a little weak."
As she finished speaking, Bella's eyes fell upon Ryan's face, filled with bitterness. "Go inside and see her."
Ryan felt like he had been given a second chance and hurriedly climbed the stairs in just three lunges.
Bella approached Justin, her forehead slightly creasing. She let out a gentle sigh. As he saw how tired she tooked, it tugged at
his heart. He reached for her hand and carefully drew her toward him as O she stood between his legs, naturally wrapping his
arms around her slim waist.
Sitting down, he looked up at her with intense affection, his large hands rubbing her waist gently. "Are you tired? Let me
accompany you back to the room. You should rest. I'll be here for Carrie, so you don't need to worry."
"I'm not tired," Bella replied softly.
"You're not tired? You can't even be bothered to say one more word." Justin teased, lifting the petite woman around her waist
and settling her on his lap. Leaning net down, he placed a gentle kiss on her red lips. "If you don't want to go back to the room,
just rest in my arms."
"I don't want to... Your muscles are all stiff and uncomfortable," Bella replied with a teasing tone.
