The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Bella explained, "I was just thinking about our conversation with your brother earlier tonight. It was really thought-provoking."
Justin said, "This is the last time something like this is happening."
Still regretting that he had let them meet, Justin held Bella tighter. "From now on, I won't let you have any more contact with my
brother. This time was an exception. Don't dwell on it further."
"I'm not the one overthinking it. It's you dwelling on it."
Bella raised her rosy face and poked his chest with her fingertip. "Does it still hurt here?"
Justin caught her hand and kissed her palm. "Hmm, it's feeling much better."
"Come on, you really don't need to be so paranoid about it. Besides, what you're thinking isn't realistic. Do you think your brother
will stay in Meridan forever? He's bound to come back someday."
She found a comfortable spot to lay on his chest.
"He arranged for the Reeds to negotiate with Salvador Corporation, and now he's suddenly contacting Grandpa Nigel. Haven't
you noticed these signals? Your brother has been laying the groundwork for his return. So, he'll definitely be back. How could I
avoid seeing him then? On the contrary, I really need to meet your brother. He really piqued my curiosity."
"Could it be that his health has improved?" Justin lowered his eyes.
"You've fought in the Salvador Corporation's power battles for many years. Why are you becoming naive now?"
Bella lightly flicked his forehead, gently scolding him. "It doesn't matter whether his health has improved or not. As long as he's
alive and wants to come back and compete with you, he will do it. He'll do it, ever if only his eyes can move. Do you know what's
more unsettling? We don't know how deep his waters run, but it feels like he knows almost everything about us, including me.
Earlier tonight, he even said he was my fan, which means he knew I was Alexa a long time ago. This is something I can't
overlook."
Justin was surprised that Bella had thought so deeply about this matter.
He kissed her forehead, feeling a strange sense of embarrassment. "Bella, you don't need to worry about these things. I've got it
all under control. I'll take care of everything and protect you and Grandpa." "If your brother comes back and demands you give

up your position as Salvador Corporation's president as a favor, would you do it?" Bella asked seriously, gazing at him with eyes
shining like morning stars while lying on his chest.
Justin did not hesitate. "No."
She smiled. "Oh, why did you suddenly become ambitious now?"
"The Salvador Corporation used to be just work-a battlefield for me. But now, the corporation is the betrothal gift for you."
Justin whispered gently, his lips tender as he squeezed the nape of her neck. "If I lose my kingdom, what will I have to win your
heart?
In the dim light, Bella's eyes reddened, and she hugged him tightly, like a bird seeking refuge in the forest.
For the past few days, Ryan has been incredibly busy.
As the prospective president, many important tasks at the Hoffman Group required his attention, and numerous documents
needed his approval.
He made sure to spend his limited free time with Carrie. He even took his beloved wife on two visits to the Savrow Art Academy
to tour the campus and discuss auditing classes. His personal time was virtually nonexistent.
Yet he relished every moment, finding joy in his responsibilities, born out of love.
It turned out that the sense of duty that comes from love was indeed a source of happiness.
Meanwhile, at the Willow Creek Villa,
Yasmin had prepared a full table of dishes as usual. Carrie was already sitting obediently at the table, eagerly waiting for Ryan to
come downstairs for dinner. S
Hearing footsteps, both women looked toward the staircase simultaneously.
Ryan descended the stairs, impeccably dressed in a suit and tie, adjusting his cufflinks as he came down.
"Mr. Hoffman, are you going out?" Yasmin asked in surprise, unaware of his plans for the evening.
Besides, his formal attire suggested he was attending an important event.

Ryan nodded. "Yes, I'm heading out. I might be back late."
