The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

The air was thick with tension.
Wyatt's expression was icy. "Do you wish I didn't get better, Mr. Iverson?"
Christopher responded with a smile, "You're imagining it, Wyatt. Why would I be so narrow-minded? You're Bella's father, and
Bella is the love of my life. I sincerely hope you remain in the best of health and live long."
Quentin looked Christopher dead in the eye with furrowed brows.
Christopher sounded concerned, but nothing good ever came out of his mouth.
"You're stubborn, Mr. Iverson."
Wyatt tensed up under his suit, but his words were biting. "But your stubbornness is becoming an obsession. I told you that you
can't force romance. Bella is a proud woman. You can pull all the stops, but she will never look your way if she's not interested."
The smile on Christopher's face froze as humiliation washed over him.
"Everybody knows that Bella is dating Justin now, and they are talking about marriage. No one can come between them."
Wyatt talked about Justin with affection.
It sounded like Wyatt and Justin were close.
The father-in-law seemed to be getting along with the son-in-law.
Hit with resentment, Christopher was about to say something when Wyatt snapped. "You're no longer the little boy who followed
my daughter around. Bella has Justin now. It's inappropriate of you to call her the love of your life."
Wyatt even gave Christopher a stern warning right outside Yara Park.
This time, he crushed Christopher's last hope.

Christopher gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes dangerously.
A while later, he smiled. "I don't expect you to remember all the nice things have done, but you don't need to be so cold and
heartless to your lifesaver. Besides, I have always respected you."
Lifesaver?
Wyatt and Quentin were taken aback.
"Didn't Bella tell you that I brought drug when you were unconscious and showing of waking up? The drug life."
Christopher smiled faintly. "Come to think of it, she wouldn't tell you. She will only remember the good in Justin."
Wyatt's cheeks burned with shame and rage.
The manipulation frustrated Wyatt, and he broke out in a cold sweat.
"If you did it, thank you."
"I know that your illness is serious. You can suffer, numbness and paralysis in the later stages. Having been successful all your
life, you certainly don't want to let the disease get the better of you. While you were battling your illness, your family was in
distress. Bella couldn't stop crying, and I felt bad for her."
Christopher sighed.
Wyatt's arms on the armchair trembled, and his composed expression stiffened.
Anxiety gnawed at Quentin.

"How about a deal for the sake of you and your family?" Christopher nudged his glasses up and smiled wickedly.
Wyatt said in a chilling tone, "What do you want?”
