The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

The title "Master Ash" was long buried deep in the back of Asher's mind.
No matter how many memories it stirred, those past events had long ceased to matter to him.
"Dr. Williams, it's me. Asher Thompson."
"Master Ash! I can hardly believe it... I didn't think I'd hear from you again in this lifetime! All these years... Have you been well?"
"I'm fine."
Asher paused, his voice deep. "Do you have time now? I need your help with something urgent."
"Master Ash, you needn't say such things! I'm always at your service. I'm willing to go through hell for you!"
Within less than half an hour, a man carrying a large medical kit arrived at Asher's villa.
The "Dr. Williams" he referred to was named Yuri Williams.
Unlike regular doctors, Yuri Williams was an underground physician.
When Asher was still "Master Ash", many of his men could not seek treatment at conventional hospitals and had to rely on
underground clinics.
It was during that time that Asher met Yuri, whose medical license had been revoked.
Recognizing his talent, Asher hired him as his doctor, ensuring his lifelong comfort and safety. Even after Asher stepped down,
he helped Yuri retire without any threat of retribution. "Master Ash..." Upon reuniting with his former boss, Yuri could not hold
back his emotions and burst into tears.
"Long time no see."
Asher's dark eyes held a faint smile as he stepped forward to embrace him. "You're still the same, looking as youthful as ever.
Not a single thing about you changed at all." "But you've changed, Master Ash."

Yuri's tearful eyes scanned Asher's face repeatedly. "I can't quite pinpoint which part, but you seem completely different from
before."
Asher looked the same.
However, his clothing, demeanor, and gaze looked nothing like him from the past.
"Of course, I've changed. I have a different identity now," Asher smiled lightly. "I need to look like a CEO."
But Yuri could see it clearly.
He knew that Asher felt helpless in the CEO position.
"I asked you to come in person this time because a very important friend of mine fell ill."
Asher pondered as he spoke slowly, "At the moment, he can't go to the hospital, so..."
Yuri shook his head. "You don't need to explain anything to me. I'll try my best for you."
Asher's long eyelashes fluttered. "Thank you."
They quickly went upstairs and entered the room.
Just as Yuri saw Arnold lying on the bed, he was stunned. Then he looked at Asher in shock.
"You're surprised too, right? He looks a lot like him.”
Asher's gaze softened as he picked up a towel to wipe the sweat from Arnold's face. "I was also shocked the first time I saw him.
However, he's completely different. Other than their faces, they have no similarities."

Thinking of that person, Yuri's expression turned sorrowful. "Indeed... Who could ever be just as stunning and unparalleled in this
world?"
The rest of the memories were too painful, and he dared not mention them.
Asher knew that standing around would not help the situation and might even hinder Yuri's work. So, he left the room.
Then he sat alone in the quiet living room. In his ears, Arnold's fervent confession replayed over and over again.
His mind was in turmoil. He closed his eyes, gripping the crucifix tightly in his trembling hand.
"Master Ash, come in and take a look!" Yuri called out, his brow furrowed deeply.
Asher immediately stood up and strode back to the bedside.
Yuri had removed Arnold's shirt, revealing his back covered in red, swollen, and torn wounds. Each of them looked grotesque
and terrifying, with blood still seeping from them. Asher's mind buzzed with a deafening shock, and a tidal wave of fury crashed
over him.
"I did a preliminary diagnosis of your friend and found that his fever was unusual, so I checked for external injuries. Sure enough,
the problem lies here."
Wearing a mask and medical gloves, Yuri gently touched the skin on Arnold's back, prompting a pained groan from him.
"It hurts..."
"Dr. Williams, he says it hurts."

Asher clenched his fingers tightly, the pain spreading through his body in empathy. "Is there anything else you can do to relieve
his pain?"
"A painkiller injection will help. However, the wounds on his back are festering. We need to clean them out immediately and give
him a tetanus shot."
Yuri quickly pulled out his medical tools from his kit. "I can't tell what caused these wounds, but it was brutal! Master Ash, did
your friend offend someone from the darker side?" Asher exuded a menacing aura, the veins on his temple throbbing.
Someone from the darker side?
That's impossible.
These horrific injuries could only be the result of punishment from the Larson family.
When he was younger, he had heard from Aunt Mita about their harsh family rules and primitive traditions. He had also heard
about the cold and distant familial relationships that had made Aunt Mila want to escape that prison countless times.
The family had no noble background. Yet they bore noble afflictions. "Dr. Williams, please save him, no matter what. And also..."
Asher's eyes tinged with a hint of crimson as he stared at the horrific wounds on Arnold's back. Each one of them was like a stab
to his heart. "He loves being clean and pretty. When these wounds heal, is there any way to prevent scarring?"
