The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

"Alright then. I was going to call them, too."
Drew's expression suddenly darkened. "I have something important to discuss with you all tonight."
Soon, Axel and Ralph joined the table.
The three Thompson brothers, along with the couple, gathered around the dining table, turning the kitchen into an impromptu
conference room.
"Drew, we're here now. Stop keeping us in suspense and show us what you've got," Axel urged, munching on a drumstick.
Drew retorted, "Ax, why so anxious?"
Axel flung a chicken bone at him, which Drew easily dodged before tossing a file onto the table.
The four of them leaned in simultaneously. "What's this?"
"Didn't you all say you wanted to avenge Ash?"
Drew's eyes turned icy as he tapped the table with his finger. "We have enough evidence inside this folder to bring James down."
At the mention of evidence, Axel, the prosecutor, and Ralph, the police officer, perked up.
Bella quickly grabbed the file, eagerly spilling its contents onto the table.
The four of them each took a part of the document and read through it. As they read the documents, their expressions grew
increasingly shocked and furious.
"The Bright Future Education Foundation under the Iverson Group, managed by James Iverson, has raised over ten million
dollars in just two years. However, none of this money went to helping in poverty. Instead, it all went into James Iverson's
pockets. Additionally, he even held so-called charity performance events, where the sponsored girls were paraded before high-
ranking officials and wealthy men, essentially creating a selection process for their pleasure."
Upon reaching this point in the document, Drew's eyes were already burning with rage. "Those girls just wanted a chance to go
to school. But instead, they were thrown into a pit of despair, subjected to unspeakable torment."
Bella slammed her hand on the table, shaking with anger. "James Iverson is nothing but a hypocrite and an animal!"

Ralph's eyes burned with the same intensity of anger. "We should've taken him down when we went after Christopher. I regret
not doing so every single day!"
"It's alright, Bella, Ralph. Justice will always prevail. He won't be able to get away with this for long." Axel reassured his siblings,
squeezing Ralph's shoulder firmly.
Studying the documents in his hands, Justin's brows furrowed tightly. "As a former spokesperson for the Iverson Group, James
Iverson's cunning and methods are far more sophisticated than Christopher's. Christopher flaunted his background and acted
openly. However, James is different. He knows how to disguise himself using various covert means. On the surface, he appears
to be a philanthropist."
"Justin, what are you getting at?" Bella grabbed his hand.
"He's committed so many crimes. There's no way he hasn't covered his tracks."
Justin turned and met Bella's bright eyes. "Although these pieces of evidence are explosive news, they're not detailed or
comprehensive enough. They can certainly intimidate him. But to convict him, we need a more thorough investigation and more
witnesses Willing to come forward. As a prosecutor, I think Axel should be more professional in this field than I am."
Ralph nudged Axel with his elbow. "Hey, Ax. They're talking about you."
"Huh? Oh, I see."
Still getting used to the prosecutor title, Axel was momentarily slow to respond. "But even so, these pieces of evidence are
enough for us to call James in for questioning and tea." Bella's eyes flashed with fury. "Questioning? That animal deserves to
drink urine, not tea!"
Unusually playful, Justin remarked, “Well, if he's to drink urine, we'll need to call Master Jenkins in."
The mention of their bold and skilled friend from the gang lightened the mood in the kitchen slightly.
