The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Wendy said, "We ran off just like that. It's so humiliating and frustrating!"
"What do you know? Staying there any longer would have been truly disgraceful!" Regina endured the intense pain in her wrist
as she took out her phone and pulled up a photo of Asher, the CEO of KS Group.
Wendy leaned over. The moment she saw the photo, she exclaimed, "That's the man from earlier! KS Group... He's the CEO of
KS Group?!"
Seeing the photo, Regina also felt a rush of dizziness and broke out in a cold sweat. From the first moment she saw that man,
she thought he looked familiar but couldn't remember where.
It wasn't until she stepped out the door that she was struck by the realization. The recent scandal involving a gay couple caused
an uproar-one of them had this exact face!
"It can't be. The CEO of the KS Group is gay, and this man is Roza's boyfriend. How can they be the same person? They just
look a bit alike."
"You're right. There's no way that little tramp could be so lucky to date the young master of the Thompson family."
Wendy was scared and trembling. She tried to comfort herself and muttered under her breath. "But... They look so much alike.
Even people would believe they're brothers."
Back in her office, Roza clutched her chest while her other hand frantically rummaged through a drawer for her heart medication.
She poured some out and swallowed them. Axel followed closely behind. Seeing her take the medication and still looking unwell,
he felt a deep, twisting pain in his heart.
Roza stood with her back to him, her usually proud posture slightly hunched, and the hand on her chest slowly clenched into a
fist. "You saw everything."
Axel pressed his lips together, his eyes dark and serious.
"This is my humble, lowly background. No matter how glamorous my title as a designer may be, it can never erase the past. You
must be so disappointed. Now that they're gone, you don't have to pretend anymore."
Before she could finish her sentence, she felt a warm and powerful force embracing her from behind.
He had approached without her noticing, his eyes filled with intense, almost fierce, affection as he pulled her into his arms.

At first, she struggled lightly. But soon she realized that her body desperately longed for this embrace.
"Who said it was an act?"
Axel's warm lips brushed close to her ear, his voice hoarse with emotion. "I've never been more serious about anything in my
life."
Roza felt a shiver run through her body. Her breathing quickened, and her head grew dizzy. She nearly melted into his arms. "I
don't believe you. You're lying to me. Weren't you just laughing at me earlier?"
Axel's eyes reddened as he softly coaxed her, "Don't misunderstand me. I can explain everything."
"I don't want to hear it."
"It's not that I didn't want to intervene. From the moment I heard that foul-mouthed girl insulting you, I wanted to slap her." Axel
pressed his chin into the crook of her neck, feeling a bittersweet ache that he couldn't describe.
"But I really wanted to understand you more. You never talk about your family or your life. Every time I try to get close to you, you
push me away."
He continued, "I know what I did was sneaky, but I... I could only use this method to get to know you. I want to truly know you."
