Time flew by, and the weekend had finally arrived.
That evening at the Iverson Residence, the massive fountain in the central courtyard roared back to life, and the grand hallway
was decked out with an abundance of lush flowers like a luxurious palace.
The guests, with their elegant attire and refined manners, gathered in the grand hall. The glasses clinked, and their cheerful
conversations filled the air.
Since Astrid's severe sentencing and Charles' tragic death in prison, a series of poor business decisions have caused Iverson
Group's stock to plummet. The entire Iverson family had never before faced such a devastating blow, and the atmosphere had
been gloomy for quite some time. However, tonight was an exception.
Accompanied by James and Coral, Lance was mingling among the guests. They basked in niceties and compliments they had
not received in a long time. His contentment was apparent even without words. "Look! Isn't Mrs. Iverson wearing the gown
designed by Ms. Roza Walker?!"
"Indeed! Roza Walker's design has a unique touch to it. It's absolutely gorgeous!"
"It's true that clothes make the man. Coral used to be like an accessory next to James, but tonight, she's really standing out on
her own."
As the compliments poured in from all around, James stood tall, beaming with pride. Whenever his wife was praised, his face
would light up, and he felt a deep sense of satisfaction.
"Coral, you've really made me proud tonight."
James tenderly caressed Coral's delicate hand and murmured softly in her ear, "Once we get back, I'll make sure to reward you
well."
Coral forced a charming smile, despite feeling disgusted.
"Where's Christopher?" Lance frowned as he looked around. "How can he be missing at such an important time?"
"I heard from Taylor that he went to personally welcome a distinguished guest," Coral responded beside him.
"Hmph, his so-called distinguished guest? Could it be that woman from the Thompson family?" James sneered disdainfully. Coral
lowered her eyes and remained silent.
Lance's face turned gloomy, and he said angrily, "I heard that Justin has long been in cahoots with Wyatt. Rumor has it that he
has been staying at Yara Park for quite some time now, and the entire Thompson family has fully accepted him. Remarrying
Bella seems to be just a matter of time! Why can't Christopher just give up on that wretched girl? How long will he continue to be
stubborn?"
At that moment, a secretary hurried over.
"Chairman Iverson, Ms. Thompson and Mr. Salvador have arrived."
The expressions of the Iverson father and son changed abruptly, mirroring each other in an equally unpleasant manner.
They had sent an invitation to the Salvador family, but it was intended for Gregory, not Justin. They didn't expect Gregory to be
replaced by this pair of troublemakers.
A top-tier luxury car was parked right in the center of the entrance. The first to step out was Justin, dressed in a sleek black
evening suit.
His strikingly handsome features and commanding presence exuded an undeniable air of authority, drawing the attention of all
the guests the moment he appeared. Yet this distinguished figure was now assuming the role of an attendant.
At that moment, a delicate, porcelain-like hand emerged from the car. With a gentle smile, Justin took hold of Bella's hand,
gracefully helping her out of the vehicle.
Tonight, the young lady was adorned in a simple yet elegant off-shoulder mermaid gown, its white fabric accentuating her
slender waist and the alluring curves of her mature, feminine figure.
"Bella, are you feeling cold?" Justin whispered low in her ear, his large hand resting on her slender waist, giving a slight squeeze
to the soft flesh he found so irresistible.
"I'm fine. We'll be inside in just a few steps," Bella replied, smiling up at him with sparkling eyes as he held her close.
The stunning couple were eye-catching. Wherever they went, they naturally became the center of attention.
