"Gasp... He's actually willing to splurge so much on the engagement party! Well, the Fox Family really deserves its reputation as
the leader of the Roseland Chamber of Commerce!"
"This is simply awesome and terrific! At last, the Wynn Family's gonna see the light at the end of the tunnel!"
Kingsley tinkered with his phone while saying impassively, "Young Master Nicholas could be even more awesome, actually."
At this moment, however, everyone was still deep in shock, and no one took his words seriously.
Trembling all over with excitement, Clarence said, "I'll send messages to those second-class families right away! They kicked our
family when we were down; I have to show everyone that our family's gonna rise up again!"
Mia's face was red with excitement, too. Snuggling to Nicholas' chest with happiness written all over her face, she said, "Honey,
you're so nice to me! I'm so happy!"
Nicholas couldn't help feeling worried, though. Clarence looked so euphoric as if he were going to invite everyone he knew to the
engagement party. How much would he have to pay for the engagement party if it were to be priced at 15,000 per table... On
second thoughts, however, if Helen died, his aunt Megan and the Larsons would definitely get a large share of the Fox Family
property. Compared to that, the money spent on the engagement party would be peanuts! At the thought of this, his face
brightened up a lot. Wrapping his arm around Mia's shoulders, he said cockily, "This amount of money isn't much!"
His words made Mia dizzy with happiness, as though she had foreseen the day when she would become a footballer's wife! She
walked up to Reene and provocatively kicked her calf with her toes, saying arrogantly, "You see this, Reene? This is what the
Fox Family is capable of! It'd take them just a snap of the fingers to deal with your little Neveah Department Store! If you don't
want to get into trouble, return the Clark Corporation to us and keep on being an obedient guard dog for the Wynn Family!"
Reene trembled all over with rage at the lady's insulting words. "Let's go, Kingsley." Her good-looking face turned pale. "I don't
want to stay here even a second longer! Their faces really make me sick!"
Kingsley took a glance at his phone. "Just a minute, Reene. Please put up with it a bit longer. They can get even bigger!"
"Get even bigger, huh..." Suddenly, Reene recalled something Kingsley had once said to her. "You know what? The bigger they
are, the harder they fall. Just let them have their moments for now, and they'll come a cropper when they fall at my feet!" She
took a deep breath, asking, "Kingsley, you already have a way to teach them a lesson?"

A cold smirk formed on Kingsley's lips. "Reene, don't you know what kind of a person I am? When did I ever do something
useless?"
Reene replied, "Alright, I believe you!" After the previous incidents, she was now very confident in Kingsley's capabilities. Even
though she had no idea how he had done it, he was always able to cleverly get her out of trouble with little effort!
Just then, Nicholas' phone rang all of a sudden. "Hello?" he merely said, only to fall silent for half a minute, standing motionless
as if he had been rooted to the spot!
Mia asked puzzledly beside him, "Honey, what's the matter? Did something happen?"
"Uh... I..." Nicholas put the phone on speaker as if he had fallen into a trance.
Only a man's voice was sounding through the phone. "Hello, Young Master Nicholas, are you still there? I'm James Turner, the
general manager of Ramada Hotel. The banquet hall on the 60th floor has been reserved for your engagement party. If the party
will have more than 100 guests, we can offer you a ten-percent discount on the reservation fee. Hello? Hello? Young Master
Nicholas?"
At this very moment, Nicholas was stunned, and so was everyone else present. Ramada Hotel was the number one hotel and a
landmark of Cleapolis. It was 66 stories high, but only prominent figures and upper-class members of society were qualified to
