Ariel blushed as she thanked Leon sincerely
After she got home, she followed Leon’s prescriptions. Her period disappeared that night and her body felt more relaxed than it
ever was.
It caused her to admire Leon’s medical abilities.
“No wonder you seem to be in such a good mood today!” Leon had a look of realization on his face, unable to resist laughing.
At the vice president’s office, Ashwin called Michael over the phone.
“Mister Duvall, I’ve already looked into Leon’s details!” Ashwin said with a strange
tone.
Michael said happily, “Mister Mercer, where did that guy come from? What’s his background...”
“Background?”
“He had no background at all!” Ashwin finally laughed out loud.
“What? Could he just be an ordinary person without any notable background?”
Michael was shocked.
He remembered very well that Leon got the Wick Group’s cooperation so easily a few days ago, shocking everyone.
Leon should have been somewhat capable or should have had a notable background to be able to form a relationship with the
Wicks.
“He’s not just ordinary!”
“You wouldn’t even be able to dream about it. This guy used to be married to the Mansons. He was there for three years and was
just trash in everyone’s eyes. Even dogs lived better than him...”

He thought that Leon would be someone quite talented, but the moment he found out about Leon’s past, he looked down on
Leon immensely.
It was one thing to be cheated on, but Leon was a useless leech as well. Someone like Leon was not even an ant in his eyes.
“What? Something like that happened?!” Michael was shocked. He never would have dreamed that Leon’s situation would be so
tragic. Even a random man from the streets would be much better than Leon!
“I just can’t understand it. Miss Summers is so beautiful and has such a nice figure. How could she have her eyes on a divorced
piece of trash like Leon? Her taste is really strange!”
“Mister Duvall, you’ll need to work hard from now on. If you can’t even beat a piece of trash like Leon, it’d be too
embarrassing...” Ashwin patted Michael on the shoulder with sympathy.
“No, that can’t be the case. Ariel must’ve been tricked by Leon’s words! I have to find the chance to expose that guy in the future
so Ariel will leave him!” Michael said with an incredibly dark and scary look on his face.
Ashwin was right about one thing. If he lost to a piece of trash like Leon, then he might as well just end himself!
“I’ll support you! Miss Young already told me just now that the company will be having a celebration banquet tonight to celebrate
us getting the right to work with the Wick Group. She put me responsible for arranging the whole thing!”
“Leon’s the biggest contributor. We have to properly kill his thunder during the banquet. We can’t let him grow too big!” Ashwin
said with a sneer.
Iris held a celebratory banquet just for Leon, which meant that she put a lot of importance on Leon.
Ashwin was the true pillar of the company, and the most important person to Iris. There was no way he could tolerate Leon
stealing his thunder!
“Good idea!”

“I’ll properly deal with him during the banquet. I’ll expose him in front of everyone!”
