Leon ran after the Scarlet Thief while retrieving a Spirit Nurturing Pill to ingest.
Though Leon managed to ingest the Spirit Nurturing Pill, he suffered a significant loss of spiritual energy from the use of Earthly
Plunder and Phantom Steps repeatedly. Because of that, his speed dropped significantly.
The Scarlet Thief, on the other hand, was running at full speed. Hence Leon failed to catch up to him.
Since they were at Chandler's place, they were surrounded by trees as far as the eyes could see.
The Scarlet Thief arrived before a forest within a blink of an eye.
"Good!" His face lit up at the sight, and he relaxed immediately.
He knew that he would be able to shake Leon off if he managed to run into the forest, utilizing its complicated terrain and trees
as his shield. By then, it would be impossible for Leon to catch up to him.
Just as he was contemplating his escape, what happened next turned the table against him.
Leon flung his arm in the air, sending three small daggers flying toward the Scarlet Thief s back.
"What?! Are those... poison daggers?" The Scarlet Thief turned around and was instantly terrified.
The Southern Boss hired him to eliminate Leon and informed him ahead of time that Leon possessed poison daggers capable of
killing a man in moments.
The Southern Boss had warned the Scarlet Thief in advance. When the Scarlet Thief saw the blue glow on those daggers, he
instantly came to the conclusion that the daggers were poisoned.
Not daring to take them lightly, he immediately paused and moved to dodge the daggers.
Taking advantage of that opportunity, Leon leaped into the air and landed on the ground right in front of the Scarlet Thief to cut
him off.
"Die, Scarlet Thief!" Leon shouted as he charged toward the Scarlet Thief.

"Damn it!" The Scarlet Thief paled, frustrated that Leon managed to stop him right before he was about to escape into the
woods.
However, there was no time for him to feel frustrated as Leon's overall strength was above his. On top of that, he was severely
injured, and it was impossible for him to defend himself from Leon, so he dared not take Leon’s attack directly.
Without hesitation, he turned and tried running in the opposite direction.
"Henry, Chandler, stop the Scarlet Thief! Don't let him get away!" Leon commanded before taking off to catch up with the Scarlet
Thief as well.
"Yes!" Henry and Chandler snapped out of their daze.
"Scarlet Thief, you killed our family! Today, we're going to make you pay!" They roared through gritted teeth and glared at the
Scarlet Thief with hatred boiling in their eyes.
Since the Scarlet Thief was severely injured, that was their best chance to take revenge, and they were not about to let the
Scarlet Thief escape.
They both launched their best attack from left and right at the Scarlet Thief while Leon charged toward him from the back.
