"Elder Quinn, a-are you okay?" Leon was stunned to see Chandler being defeated by Arthur so easily. He quickly stepped
forward to help Chandler up.
"I'm fine. I can still hold myself together..." Chandler huffed as he clutched his aching chest.
"That's good to hear..." Leon was relieved to hear that. With that, he took out a Circulation Pill, which was perfect for healing
injuries like this, and handed it to Chandler.
"Leon Wolf, I'll make you pay for killing my son!" Right after saying that, August channeled all his energy into his palms and
geared himself up to attack Leon to avenge his son Yonas' death!
"Wait a minute! I have something to say!” Leon shouted. As furious as he was over Arthur and the rest of the Thompsons '
invasion, not to mention how they had injured Chandler during the process, he still understood exactly what was happening. The
Thompsons had clearly misunderstood everything and thought that he was the culprit behind Yonas' death. That was why they
were seeking revenge!
Therefore, his priority at that moment was to straighten out their misunderstanding so as not to pay this terrible price!
With that in mind, Leon tried his best to stifle his anger.
"Leon, seeing that you used to do us good, I shall give you one chance! Do you have any last words?" Arthur declared
with a solemn look, gesturing for August to halt
his advances momentarily.
"Elder Thompson, I'll admit that Yonas and I have never seen eye to eye, and I even injured him once before.
However, at that time, all I did was break his arm. I never once attempted anything more serious than that! My point is his death
has nothing to do with
me at all! I believe you've all made a mistake..." Leon explained as calmly as he could.
"Nonsense! Yonas died due to massive injuries shortly after he returned home... Who else would be the culprit behind this, if not
you?" August bellowed.

"What?! That's impossible! Yonas was perfectly fine when he left Elegante Group, so how could he possibly die so soon after
returning home? Something smells fishy!"
Leon declared confidently. He had been through plenty during his time, and with his experience, he was certain that he could not
have caused Yonas' death, even if he did not yet have full control over his powers!
He was certain that Yonas would never have died from the injury that was inflicted upon him, especially because that had never
been his intention at all!
His gut was telling him that there was more to Yonas' death than what meets the eye!
However, since he was not aware of the details regarding Yonas' death, he could not say for certain what had
happened.
"That's nonsense! The truth is sitting right in front of our eyes, and yet you're still trying to weasel your way out of it! You must
pay the price for what you've done!"
August was irate.
After hearing both Sully and Norm's statements, coupled with Finlay's diagnosis, he was sure that Leon was the culprit behind
Yonas' murder!
However, not only did Leon fail to show remorse for his actions, but he even continued to evade all responsibilities. That
infuriated him even more!
Nevertheless, August was not the only one outraged by this. Arthur was just as angry, if not more!
With such concrete evidence at hand, Arthur, too, was convinced that Leon was responsible for Yonas' death. No matter how
much Leon tried to convince him, he would never believe it!
On the contrary, Leon’s denial only made him even more vehement!
