"Grandpa, that's wrong! I've just spoken to Mister Wolf and he has already decided to give up on collaborating with the
Morrisons. If we keep holding ourselves in too high a regard and attempt to control Cynthion Group, we will only suffer and lose
this opportunity," Hugo said hastily when he saw that the others remained stubborn.
Though he only saw Leon a few times, he knew everything about Cynthion Group's background. Considering Cynthion Group's
potential, Leon did not need to beg the Morrisons for their help and therefore had no reason to compromise, because that would
be unrealistic.
"He wants to give up on working with us? What a joke! Cynthion Group is just a small pharmaceutical firm with no support here in
the western region. If they want to expand, they will have to work with the Morrisons, or they won't succeed!" Jayden sneered
and scoffed at Hugo's words.
"He is right! Hugo, Mister Wolf is just putting up an act to scare you! This is a cheap business trick, so don't fall for it!"
The other elders, too, did not take this seriously.
"That's not going to happen! Cynthion Group’s pills can aid martial artists in their training and that makes them irreplaceable. The
same can't be said about us. There are a lot of powerful families here in the western region and any one of them can replace us.
Even if we refuse to work with Cynthion Group. Others would fight to work with them," Hugo explained patiently.
Leon was here earlier and he did not want to be overly blunt out of respect for his family. However, with Leon gone, he saw the
opportunity to present the pros and cons of this partnership.
At the moment, the Morrisons needed this partnership more than Cynthion Group.
If Caleb and the elders refused to see reasons and continued their stubborn ways, they would regret it once Leon found another
powerful family to work with.

Taking pride in the fact that they were the most powerful family in the western region, they assumed that Cynthion Group should
be honored for a chance to work with them. On top of that, they even felt that Cynthion Group had to rely on them to set foot in

the area.
Hence, when Leon offered a profit lower than what they expected, they were all displeased.
However, upon hearing Hugo's explanation, they finally realized that they overestimated the Morrisons' importance to the
Cynthion Group.
As Hugo mentioned, there were plenty of powerful families in the western region and Cynthion Group did not have to cooperate
with the Morrisons.
