The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky

Chapter 2597
"Yeah! Hugo, what's the rush? Just wait for the third elder to come back!" Jayden sneered.
Both he and Caleb continued to look down on Cynthion Group like they did the day before.
"But," Unwilling to give up, Hugo opened his mouth to argue but was interrupted by Jayden.
"There's no ‘but1! Cynthion Group is offering US too little profit. It's only normal for us to consider it carefully instead of allowing
them to manipulate us!" Jayden scoffed.
"Yeah, he is right!" "A business deal requires multiple negotiations and compromises. It doesn't just happen overnight!: "Cynthion
Group is only offering twenty percent of profit and they are trying to trick us! We need to do what's best for US and fight for
more!"
The other elders agreed along with Jayden's point of view.
Seeing how the others supported him, Jayden felt smug.
"Hugo, I know that you are close with Mister Wolf. Why don't you represent us and talk to him? Ask him to increase the profit to
forty percent. This is the best we can do!" Jayden smirked and hinted that Hugo was likely bribed by Leon.
That would explain why Hugo kept trying to convince Caleb to accept such unfavorable terms.

"Yeah, he is right! We can accept forty percent of the total profit. Instead of wasting your time with me, you might as well go to
Mister Wolf and get him to accept it. Once he agrees to this term, the Morrisons will partner with Cynthion Group!" Caleb nodded
in agreement.
Back when he negotiated with Leon the day before, he asked for an equal division of profit, but Leon turned him down.
He compromised and felt that he was being generous for demanding forty percent of the profit.
The one thing that was different for Caleb was that he did not think Leon bribed Hugo. He merely thought that Hugo was close
with Leon and wanted Hugo to make good use of this connection to increase the share they could get.
That ought to satisfy everyone in the deal.
"What? That's not possible!" Hugo was shocked. "Grandfather, don't listen to Uncle Jayden. We only need to help supply herbs
and with marketing, so there's no risk on our end if we work with Cynthion Group. It's already quite generous of them to offer US
twenty percent of the total profit. He would never agree to give US forty percent."
He knew that Caleb and Jayden refused to seal the deal immediately because they wanted to obtain more. However, Cynthion
Group was no ordinary pharmaceutical firm and did not have to rely on the Morrisons.
If they insisted on getting forty percent of the total profit, they would only embarrass themselves because Leon would never
agree to such unreasonable terms.
