Chapter 2600
"Renee, enough with your nonsense! The deal with Cynthion Group is a business matter. You are still too young to know
anything about this, so don't get involved!" Caleb said sternly to Renee.
He assumed that Renee was influenced by Hugo and did not take her seriously.
The other elders shared the same view.
Renee did not play an important role in the family business and she did not know doing business. If even Hugo failed to convince
them to accept Leon's terms, Renee, who had no expertise in the matter, could not possibly succeed.
No one was going to compromise and cave to Leon's terms over a few words she said.
"Grandfather, I'm not messing around. I'm just telling the truth! You don't know this yet, but during Jaxon's bouquet last night, a
lot of the guests tried to work with Cynthion, including influential families like the Dagleshs. If we keep dragging this on, I'm afraid
that some other family may snatch the opportunity away," Renee said, before proceeding to explain what happened during the
bouquet the night before.
"What?"
Caleb and the others could not believe what they were hearing.
They thought that the Cynthion Group had no connection in the western region and had to rely on the Morrisons to establish
itself here.
To their bewilderment, Leon already made Cynthion Group's name known amongst the younger generation over a single night.
On top of that, countless people fought for a chance to work with Cynthion Group.
This was so surreal that they were taken aback.
"Renee, are you sure? Were there really powerful families offering to work with Cynthion Group?" Caleb snapped out of it and
asked.
He only delayed accepting Leon's offer because he wanted to fight for more profit, but he never meant to push Cynthion Group
away to another family.
However, there were other families now fighting for this opportunity, including the Dagleshs.
Insignificant families would not be able to compete against the Morrisons, but the Dagleshs were comparable to the Morrisons in
terms of influence and power, so they would be a threat.
Instantly, Caleb lost his composure.
"It's true!" Renee nodded seriously.
"Damn it! How can this happen?" Caleb and the others' expressions darkened as their hearts sank.
Upon learning that there were other competitors, their earlier confidence was now replaced by panic.
