"Waiting for me?" Leon was taken aback and remained confused.
Hugo called him saying that Caleb agreed to his terms and intended to meet with him in person to discuss the details.
Seeing as Caleb and the others did not leave the hotel, he immediately realized that they stayed to wait for him.
However, he did not know Elder Daglesh, Elder Rathbournes, and the others, so he could not figure out why these people were
waiting for him.
Hugo could tell that Leon was confused and explained, "Mister Wolf, these are all elders of various influential families in the
western region. The Morrisons aren't the only ones who wish to work with Cynthion Group."
"I see!" Realization dawned on Leon and he finally understood why there were so many people waiting for him.
If he was not mistaken, the alchemical pills he presented in the bouquet had a great marketing effect and attracted the attention
of multiple families.
Still, he did not anticipate all these people to wait for his return at the hotel.
According to what Renee said, they seemed to have been waiting for a long time and this caught him off-guard.
"Hugh, you're finally back! Here we are thinking that you are attending to some important business. Turns out that you just went
to have fun,"
Jayden reprimanded.

When Hugo called Leon earlier, Leon mentioned that he needed to take care of something and could not return shortly.
At the time, Jayden assumed he was dealing with something important.
However, seeing Leon's tipsy appearance, he realized Leon simply went drinking and this deepened his displeasure against
Leon.
"I'm sorry! I didn't know so many people were waiting for me. Please find it in your hearts to forgive me." Leon smiled
apologetically.
"Is that supposed to justify your actions? You kept US waiting here in the hotel while you went out drinking. Do you take US for
fools?" Jayden scoffed.
He assumed that Leon was just a vice president and since he already convinced the others to team up against Leon, he
remained arrogant and showed Leon no respect at all.
However, before he could continue, he felt a sharp pain in his leg as Caleb kicked him.
"Mister Carn, Mister Caldicot. It's been a while!" Caleb signaled with his eyes for Jayden to shut up and greeted Howard and
Fletcher.
He recognized the two of them and knew that they were both capable Dragon Guards.
Naturally, the others noticed the same and almost immediately recognized Howard and Fletcher upon a closer look.
