The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky

Chapter 2659
"Well," Renee was rendered speechless because what Leon said was the truth.
He came from the southern region because he sincerely wished to work with the Morrisons.
However, Caleb and the elders were far too arrogant and greedy. On top of that, Jayden continued to cause trouble and even
tried to team up with others to scheme against Leon.
This was simply out of line and anyone would be livid. Leon was no exception.
It was understandable that he no longer wished to work with the Morrisons and it was inappropriate for her to blame him.
"Miss Morrison, consider whatever discussed between the Morrisons and Cynthion Group invalid. Please go home!" Leon said
coldly.
Not wanting to waste his time further with Renee, he turned back to his room.
"It's over," Caleb and Hugo's hearts sank.
They both knew that the Morrisons wronged Leon.
Now that Leon had given up on them, they wanted to say something to salvage the situation, but their words failed them.

Feeling bitter, they both felt devastated.
"Hugh, don't leave! I know that we're in the wrong here, but this is all my uncle's doing. This was never the intention of my
brother and grandfather! My brother worked hard to work with Cynthion Group. He kept trying to convince my grandfather and
the elders to change their minds since last night. With his hard work, my grandfather has already come to a realization and
agreed to your terms. If you reject US just because of what my uncle did, my brother's hard work will all go to waste," Renee
refused to give up and shouted at Leon's back.
There was a hint of pleading in her melodious voice as she hoped for Leon to change his mind.
Leon paused and turned to look at Renee with a dark expression.
Though the Morrisons were definitely in the wrong, Renee was right that this was not Hugo's fault.
On the contrary, Hugo prepared the herbs Leon needed ahead of time and persistently tried to convince his family to establish a
partnership with him.
On top of that, Renee treated him well as well.
If she had not informed him about the bouquet the night before and accompanied him to it, he would never have obtained the
Rainbow Fruit from the Feaks.
This credit belonged to Renee.
Both Hugo and Renee treated him with great kindness, and Hugo put in a lot of effort for this. If Leon gave up on the Morrisons
simply because of Jayden, it would be unfair to Hugo and Renee.
