She was thinking about how she could defeat Leon and embarrass him and Renee.
However, Bucky's words gave her a new insight.
Leon already raised the price to 50 million and he would make a fool of himself if he failed to pay.

disappointing!" Leon mocked.
The green jadeite before them was large and could easily be divided into nineteen plates. Since its quality was only second to
the highest quality imperial green jadeite, it was far better than the previous clear jadeite.

He thought that he saw through Leon's tricks and assumed that a mere vice president did not have 50 million.
Hence, there was no point in competing with Leon.
Naturally, he took into consideration that Renee may try to pay for Leon because they were dating.
However, he dismissed this possibility as soon as it crossed his mind.
After all, 50 million was a rather big amount and Renee, who shared a similar background as Bucky, would not be able to access
