When it came to the major families, once a daughter married out, the daughter was no longer a part of them. Louisa and Linda
were considered outsiders, and they did not participate in the gathering at that time.
However, the two of them heard of what happened, that Gilbert and Iris were forced out of the family.
“Gilbert, what happened? Weren’t you supposed to take over as the head of the family today? Why were you and Iris suddenly
kicked out of the family?” Linda asked anxiously, not understanding how everything got to that stage.
“Don’t even talk about it anymore! It’s all that wretch, Daisy. She betrayed me for the sake of seizing power for Royce,” Gilbert
said viciously, explaining everything briefly.
“Daisy’s too despicable! Dad only fell ill not too long ago, and she’s already starting to fight for power. I don’t know what she’s
even thinking!” Linda said angrily.
“At least Daisy has a reason for doing all of that. She might be a bit selfish for helping Royce seize power, but it’s still better than
having it fall into the hands of the second bloodline. I don’t blame her. Leon and Harold, on the other hand. The two of them have
harmed me so much. I won’t let them off!” Gilbert said through clenched teeth.
Daisy was his wife. Even if Daisy betrayed him, it was still a family matter.
Furthermore, it was not necessarily a bad thing that Royce got his place as the head of the family.
However, Leon and Harold were different. His hatred for Leon and Harold was a hundred times more than his hatred for Daisy!

She was different from Iris. Louisa never lost faith in Leon, and knew that Leon had a very good moral character. She refused to
believe that Leon was as petty as Iris said!
“I felt that he wouldn’t do that either, but the truth is in front of us. Elegante is already in his hands. Is there anything else to say?”
Iris said in disappointment.
Even though she did not hate Leon like Gilbert did, she was still deeply disappointed in Leon for forgetting about their past
relationship and targeting the Youngs with such despicable methods. She no longer held any hope for their relationship!
“Iris, there must be a misunderstanding somewhere! No, I’ll go ask Leon about it right now!” Louisa said as
she started to walk out.
“Louisa, don’t go. It’s already over. There’s no reason for you to look for Leon right now.”
Iris hurriedly grabbed Louisa’s arm.
“Iris is right! Leon is our enemy. I won’t allow you to see him!” Gilbert said angrily.
Leon caused him so much harm this time, and was probably waiting to laugh at him. If Louisa went to see Leon, Gilbert would
just be laughed at. He would not let Louisa embarrass himself like that!
