“Jacob, let me go right now! I’m warning you. Even if I have to die, I won’t marry you!” Iris frantically struggled as she shouted
angrily.
Jacob put his hand on Iris‘ chin, sneering, “Iris, I know you’re too proud, and that you look down on me.”
“It’s fine, even if I can’t get your heart, I’m more than happy to just get you! Take her away!”
With a wave, Jacob motioned for those two experts to bring Iris away.

Looking at that scene, Gilbert and the others were hopeless. They wanted to rush forward to stop it, Marco and the other martial

At that moment, a cold shout was heard as Anson brought a few of his men ove.r

dare you be so impolite to Iris? Have you men let her go right now!”
“Mister Collins, what’s the meaning of this? Gilbert promised Iris to the Lowes a while ago, this is something every major family in
Springfield City should know. From now on, Iris is already my fiance. I can do whatever I want with her. It has nothing to do with
you!” Jacob said unhappily.
“Fiance? Only you would be able to say something like that! Jacob, most of the people in our circles know that I like Iris. I’ve
been pursuing her for a long time.You should know that! We’ve been quite friendly with each other, and I’ve always seen you as
a friend. Yet, you actually proposed to the Youngs behind my back, stabbing me from behind. Do you even think of me as a
friend at all?!” Anson said in frustration.
Jacob and him were friends before. Then, because of Xander’s matter, Jacob got into a conflict with Leon. At the time, he helped
Jacob before.

Yet, he never expected Jacob to stab him on the back like that, turning Jacob’s attention to Iris. It caused a gigantic rift between
the two of them.
“Mister Collins, I know you’re one of Iris’s pursuers, but the four great families have never gotten married to each other before.
It’s impossible between you and Iris! Honestly, men go after beautiful women all the time. Iris has so many pursuers, it’s up to her
who she wants in the end! I’ve always liked Iris, and the two of us willingly got married. How could I be stabbing you in the
back?!” Jacob said calmly.
“You’re right, I have no right to stop you from pursuing Iris, but Iris is a goddess in my eyes. No matter who wants to get with her,
they should get her in a fair manner. I would have nothing to say then! If you’re trying to use some despicable methods or to
force her, then I’ll be the first one to disagree!” Anson said coldly.
Since the four great families never married between each other before, Anson did not hate Jacob when he first found out about
their marriage, even though he was definitely angry.
Yet, it was already a completely different situation. Iris swore against accepting her marriage with Jacob, and was even forced
out of the family because of it.
