“Do you think I'm lying to you? I got money. I'll pay you 5,000 dollars!”

With that said, the overweight man took out his wallet and showed a thick pile of
red cash notes.

The driver was instantly interested at the sight of so much money.

However, he turned around to look at the Guardian Sword at Sean’s waist and
Zander’s knife, not daring to persuade them to get out of the car.

It was not a joke. Sean and Zander were both carrying weapons. He dared not
kick them out of the car. The City—State Union was a lawless place. It was not
easy to make a living here. Hardly a day went by without someone dying in the
streets because of a quarrel.

If Sean and Zander blew up and hurt someone, he would probably be doomed!
Of course, it was only his speculation and opinion.

Sean and Zander were armed but only for protection. They would never attack an

The overweight man seemed to notice that Sean and Zander were armed, but he
snorted coldly and said, Is bringing a sword and saber all that? Who do you think
you are? Haha. I'm a weapons dealer from Dorodo, and I do business with
Dorodo’s city defense army. Dorodo’s city defense army will hunt you down to the
ends of the earth if you offend me!”

“Dorodo’s city defense army?

“The overweight man is Dorédo’s weapons dealer and is also doing business with
Dorodo’s city defense army?

“In that case, the overweight man is one of us?"

Zander looked at Sean. After getting confirmation from his gaze, he turned to the
overweight man and said, “You're going to Dorodo, right? We're going to Dorodo
too. In that case, why don’t we ride together?”

Hearing this, the overweight man hesitated momentarily before snorting coldly
and saying, “You know what's good for you after all!”

With that said, the overweight man squeezed through the front door and sat in
the front passenger seat. As the overweight man got in, the taxi sank instantly.
The car even squeaked as if it would fall apart at any time.

The driver said no more but started the car and headed for Crosac.

More than ten minutes later, the taxi pulled out of Crosac and was driving on a
deserted field.

The overweight man chattered on and on in the car.

“My name is Ronald Townsend, but I'm not from Dragon Kingdom. My parents
are from Dragon Kingdom.

I was born in Dorodo... I'm currently Dorodo’s biggest weapons dealer, supplying
the city defense army with weapons. If you don’t believe me, you can find out if
my story is true or false by asking around in Dorodo...”

The overweight guy named Ronald was arrogant as he kept talking about
himself.

Zander was irritated with him.

Sean was amused.

Although Ronald was quite arrogant before him, Sean was not offended; he was
amused.

“So you have a good relationship with the city defense army? Tell me what's
going on with Dorodo’s city defense army.”

Sean asked.

Ronald snorted coldly and said, “Dorodo’s city defense army has 3,000 men
under Dragon Kingdom's control. It's one of the largest legions in the City—State
Union. But Crosac and several other city-states have employed a lot of
mercenaries. They're not as capable of fighting as Dorodo’s city defense army...
“Dorodo’s city defense army belongs to Dragon Kingdom's southern seventh
corps, right?”
