Chapter 1610
Hearing Mila's words, Sean had a faint intuition.
The woman Lorenzo had his eye on was most likely Lillian sitting next to him.
Sure enough, Mila quickly added, "Alfie asked Lili to marry his son, Lorenzo, but
Lili never said yes. My husband did not agree since Lili disagreed. Although he’s
greedy for money, he won't trade his daughter's happiness for money."
Sean smiled. His impression of Ronald had improved slightly.
Ronald was stingy and greedy for money, but this guy refused to use his
daughter in exchange for money. You could tell from there that his daughter was
important.
Zander nodded and said, "Your husband has his redeeming qualities."
Mila beamed when Zander praised her husband.
Lillian said in a disgusted voice, "I will never marry that Lorenzo. He's a total
scumbag. He has a different woman every day. I would regret it for the rest of my
life if I married him."
"Is this Lorenzo that bad?"
Sean was not one to gossip. He just wanted to learn more about Lorenzo and his
father.
Mila nodded heavily and said, "That's why the Townsend family didn't agree to
marry the Wagner family. That Lorenzo is a real scumbag, and there's probably
no man in the world more despicable than him when it comes to women."
"Alright."
Sean nodded with a smile.
The City-State Union was a strange place. Speak of the devil, and he would
appear.
As soon as they finished speaking, a shout came from the fondue restaurant's
entrance.
"Lillian, what are you doing here? And you're eating with other men!"
Lillian and Mila turned around together to look, and a ghastly expression
appeared on the two women's faces.
"That's Lorenzo!"
Sean and Zander looked over to see Lorenzo standing before the fondue
restaurant's entrance.
Lorenzo was young, only in his early twenties. Maybe only a year or two older
than Sean. 1
Most importantly, he dressed luxuriously. The clothes he wore were also inlaid
with accessories like jewels. He dressed just like a fancy pillow.
Moreover, his expression was haughty. He exuded arrogance from head to foot.
You could tell he was a hothead who had never experienced the harshness of
life.
Lorenzo was not alone. He was accompanied by two burly men wearing
sunglasses.
“Lillian! You're out of line. I invited you to dinner several times, and you refused to
join me. Now you're here with Mila eating fondue with another man. Are you
trying to humiliate me? Lillian, I won't go easy on you if you don't give me a good
explanation today!"
Lorenzo said and strode over.
The fondue restaurant's customers knew something was wrong and rushed to
the cashier to settle their bills. Some even left without paying.
Seeing that something was wrong, several waiters came over to stop them.
However, Lorenzo's two bodyguards shoved them to the ground.
"F*ck off. Get out of the way!"
Lorenzo snarled, his face angry and contemptuous.
Lillian panicked slightly, but the thought of Sean sitting right next to her instantly
calmed her down.
"Lorenzo, what do you want? I warn you not to be reckless, or you cant bear the
responsibility if anything goes wrong!”
Lillian warned loudly, but Lorenzo kept moving closer toward her.
