The Guardian's Sword

"Brother Onyx, I had my eye on a necklace the last time I went shopping. It costs
tens of thousands of dollars. Buy it for me!" The short-haired woman on the left
said with a smile.

"No problem. Buy it!" Onyx laughed.

The woman with long hair on the right also said with a coquettish chuckle. "l want
one too. I've had my eye on a bag for a long time but was reluctant to buy it.
Brother Onyx, why don't you buy it for me?"

"Okay, okay, okay. Buy! Buy all of them!"

Onyx pulled both women into his arms, one with each hand.

Just then, there was a banging on the door.

"Come in..." Onyx still had his arms around the two women in an arrogant
manner.

A young blonde-haired man pushed the door and came in. It was Luca, the
leader of the trio that had failed to assault Yvonne that night.

As soon as Luca came in, he said, "Brother Onyx, I've brought men to teach a
lesson to that family from the slum! Unfortunately, there was only a woman at
home, so I broke her legs!"

"Why are you bothering me with such a minor issue?" Onyx said indignantly.

"I just came to inform you. I have to tell you about such things, don't I?" Luca
looked enviously at Onyx, his eyes darting back and forth over the two women in
his arms.

Suddenly, there was a roar from outside.

"Onyx Kaiser, get the f*ck out!"

The voice was so loud that it shook the glass of the private room window and the
water in the cup on the coffee

table.

Onyx and Luca's faces instantly turned pale.

"Who dares to call me by my name? Do they have a death wish?" Onyx angrily
pushed the two women away and exited the room with Luca into the hallway.
Onyx clutched the railing with both hands and looked down into the first-floor
lobby to see the city defense soldiers pouring through the door and Zander and
Sean at the front!

With his hands on his back, Sean looked around and shouted again.

"Onyx Kaiser, get the f*ck out!"

Sean's yelling scared the customers in the first-floor lobby so much that they fled.
Soon the lobby was left with Sean, Zander, and the city defense soldiers pouring
in.

Onyx's face was already grimmer than ever.

"Why is the city defense army here... What's going on..."

Onyx was the head of the Onyx Dragon Gang and ruler of the entire Dorodo
underworld. Even so, he was well aware he was no match for the city defense
army.

The so-called ruler could only rule in the dark. There was no way he would
oppose Dorodo's government forces openly because that was no different from
asking for death!

Therefore, Onyx had been careful never to provoke anyone in the Dorodo
government. Besides that, he had become involved with the sheriff's department
and gained their protection. However, Dorodo's city defense army came and
surrounded the hotel with no way to escape!

It could not help but make Onyx shudder!

"Onyx, it's heartless of you to send men to the slum to beat helpless women! I'm
surprised that an evil man like you has survived this long! But I didn't expect you
to be so cowardly that you won't even see me!" Sean shouted in the lobby on the
first floor so loudly that the entire hotel could hear him.
