The Guardian's Sword

Sean was hiding in the shadow under a tree next to them.

A strong man picked up a woman in her 30s and took her clothes off. By the
looks of it, he was doing it right here.

The other strong man reached out to the youngest girl in the group of women.
The girl was only about 11 or 12 years old. Her small face was now ghastly pale
because of fear.

"Don't touch my daughter... The woman in her 30s who had just been chosen
yelled out in sobs.

"It turns out we picked a mother and daughter... Hahaha, interesting!" The first
strong man said.

"You play with the mom while I play with the daughter. Hehe..." The second
strong man grew more excited and grabbed the young girl.

Sean wanted to hold back a while longer, but he could not take it anymore after
seeing this.

He sprang out of the shadows, and the dagger in his hand instantly cut open the
second strong man's carotid artery!

The strong man clutched his blood-squirting neck in terror, fell to the ground, and
convulsed, unable to utter a

scream.

The first strong man was about to finish his sentence when Sean punched him in
the face.

Sean did not hold back with his punch. One could say Sean went all out,
smashing the strong man's head in a single blow!

Most of the women present were terrified, but they were then overwhelmed with
excitement. After all, in this situation, the stronger Sean was, the better chance
they had of being rescued.

The mother and daughter were sobbing and holding each other.

Sean untied the rope around the mother and daughter's hands and scolded
under his breath, "Stop crying! Untie the others. There's no time to cry!"

The mother and daughter nodded and quickly untied the ropes around the other
women's bodies and hands with Sean.

Just then, the whole camp suddenly went into chaos. Besides that, the neighing
and galloping sound of horses came from afar!

One tent after another burnt up, and there was fire everywhere.

The two city defense soldiers did it!

Without hesitation, Sean immediately pulled a flare from his arms and launched it
into the night. There was a whoosh, and a bright flame shot into the night. Then it
exploded with a bang!

Scattered firelight could be seen even more than ten kilometers away!

"Follow me up the hill beside us, where they can't follow!" Sean said to the
women and led them toward the hill beside them.

They had run out 100 meters or so, and only a strong man not yet completely
sober noticed them. The strong man opened his mouth to shout, but he had only
shouted one word when Sean threw the dagger in his hand.

The dark dagger flew like an arrow for hundreds of meters before instantly
slashing the strong man's neck!

"Hurry up!" Sean ordered, and the women gritted their teeth and ran up the hill
without throwing tantrums.

However, more and more of the bandits noticed the woman's escape and began
pursuing them, but without horses and with most of them drunk as well as the
women having a head start, they could not catch up at all.

Zander had hurried over with 200 city defense soldiers from afar!
