Big Novel

"Alright, alright, I'll tell you... It's not a big deal. My company has been having
some financial trouble lately. Several banks loaning to our company suddenly
withdrew their loans for no reason..."

"These banks withdrew their loans all at once, so my company is now
experiencing financial problems. The capital chain might break... I've been trying
to get a loan from another bank, but we haven't reached an agreement yet."
With that said, Benji gave a long sigh.

"How much money do you need?" Sean asked directly.

Without hesitation, Benji immediately replied, "At least 50 million dollars..."

50 million!

It was no small sum.

Gabe and Derrick were silent. After all, both of them made just over 10,000
dollars a month. 50 million was countless months of their salary.

"Forget it... Forget it. Let's not talk about it. It will only upset us... Let's continue
drinking," Benji said as he changed the subject.

He also did not want to put Gabe, Derrick, Zander, and Sean on the spot. He was
a tough guy who did not want to worry his old comrades with his affairs.
Besides, why would he want Sean's help when he already felt guilty about Sean?
He was not a shameless man.

Sean said nothing more and proceeded to drink with Gabe and the rest, as did
Zander. They did not leave until midnight when Sky Restaurant was about to
close.

Back at the hotel, Sean called his staff at Joules Town to get 80 million dollars
and wired it into his bank account.

"We'll go to Beniji's security company tomorrow and give him the money."

Beniji said in the private room at Sky Restaurant that he needed at least 50
million dollars. And, Sean had received 80 million dollars, which was definitely
more than enough for Benji.

Zander was excited as he nodded heavily.

The next morning.

Sean and Zander took a taxi to the Liamson Security Services building in
Midwich.

After getting out of the car, the two men entered the security company's building.
"Hello, who are you looking for?" The woman behind the reception counter
asked.

"We're looking for the chairman of your company, Benji Liamson," Zander
answered for Sean.

The woman was instantly taken aback at Zander's words. After all, Benji was the
chairman of her company and had the highest position. However, she could not
help feeling shocked that the two men had asked to see him.

"You... You want to see Mr. Liamson? Do you have an appointment?" The woman
stammered.

"We're his old comrades. Do we need an appointment to see him? Call him and
tell him Zander wants to see him," Zander said with a smile.

The woman looked doubtfully at Zander and Sean before picking up the phone.
However, the call was not made directly to Benji but to Benji's female secretary.
"Hello, Ms. Gomez. Two men came to the company and asked for the chairman.
They also said they're his old comrades,” The woman said cautiously.

An impatient woman's voice was immediately heard on the phone.

"What old comrades. They're clearly frauds. I have never heard the chairman
mention his old comrades. The chairman is meeting an important guest, so he's
unavailable. Ask them to leave."

"But..."
