Chapter 2053

He was dripping with cold sweat and shaking his head at Sean.

"Don't come over. I warn you not to come over!"

Sean advanced while the two batons he held in each of his hands fell on the
heads of the man's two companions before the man.

His two companions’ heads bled as they fainted on the spot.

Michael looked blankly at the scene from a distance. He looked hesitant as if
trying to say something, but nothing came out.

Sean said coldly, "Now, can you explain what happened?"

The man in front of Sean was terrified of Sean, but the hatred in his eyes never
decreased.

"How dare you ask me for an explanation? Would Old Master Davis be in pain if
you hadn't given him the special needle treatment?"

"Nothing will go wrong with my treatment. Don't answer me with such a ridiculous
excuse. You'd better check your facts instead of me."

The man shouted at Sean, "You're the ridiculous one! Old Master Davis has been
in such unbearable pain that he fainted several times since taking the medicine
you sent. Old Master Davis said it's probably a side effect, so he just put up with
it. Since then, Old Master Davis has fallen into a coma."

The man got angrier as he spoke, almost throwing caution to the wind and
attacking Sean.

"Tell me. Whose fault is it if not yours?"

Sean stopped the man's attacks as he frowned.

"Medicine? When did I send Old Master Davis medicine?"

"Didn't you ask Eleanor to send it over? What's the matter? Are you pretending to
have memory loss?"

Sean frowned. "I'm not even familiar with Eleanor. Instead of asking Eleanor to
deliver it, isn't it easier for me to ask Zander to deliver something?"

"What?" The man's expression instantly changed when he heard this.

Sean immediately figured it out. "Someone's meddling with us."

The man roared angrily, "Damn it! Who did this? Is it Eleanor? I'll kill her!"
"Calm down. It's hard to judge until we sort it out,” Sean said and glanced at
Michael. "I suspect it's Alexander and Mitchell."

Michael's expression changed instantly. "It's possible.”

"Let's not waste time. Let's see how Old Master Davis is doing. His life matters
the most right now."

Michael and Zander nodded.

"I'll prepare the car," Zander said and hurried off to get the car.

However, after realizing that the outside had been blocked by incoming cars and
vans, Sean took Michael and Zander to a car parked outside.

Ten minutes later, the Davis residence.

When the Davis residence's guard saw Sean and the rest get out of the car,
hostility immediately showed in his eyes.

"Why are you here? Didn't our men go looking for you?"

"It's a bit complicated to explain this." As soon as Sean spoke, he saw the guard
tap the microphone in his ear.

"Sir, Dr. Lennon is here with Old Master Carver. They're at the door now. What
should I do?"

After receiving the order, the guard was immediately wary of Sean and the rest.
Sean was somewhat upset to see the guard's behavior.

It seemed they refused to give him a chance to explain, so he could only barge
his way in.

Sean was about to make a move when a tall young man rushed out angrily.
