Chapter 2069
The people in line were annoyed by the scabby man's presence, but there was
nothing they could do about it.
They backed away silently as the scabby man walked past them.
After all, the scabby man was downright disgusting.
They even wondered if they would catch the scabby man's disease if they were
too close to him.
"What the hell is this beggar doing here?"
"I don't know, but he made many people throw up just now. The doctor used
some fragrance, but it's better if we stay away from him to save the doctor
trouble.”
"You're right.”
Everyone saw the scabby man walk up to Sean. He trembled to say something to
Sean, but he could not say anything as the words were on the tip of his tongue.
On the contrary, Sean was calm as he looked at the scabby man. He showed no
disgust.
"Are you here to see a doctor?" Sean asked.
The scabby man nodded weakly. "Yeah. I heard you can cure most diseases with
only ten dollars today."
"That's true." Sean nodded and took out his silver needles. "Your illness is as
simple as it is complex. I can alleviate your symptoms for a while, but you'll need
some time to recover. You need at least a clean environment to recover.”
With that said, Sean inserted more than a dozen silver needles into the scabby
man's body.
The scabby man was scared out of his wits at first, but he did not feel any pain
when the needles went into him.
Then the pustules burst one by one, and the pus and blood continued to drip
down his clothes.
Five minutes passed before Sean pulled the needles out.
"Alright, I got rid of the root of your disease. But it'll take a while for the skin to
heal. Why don't you go in and have a bath first? I'll get someone to get you some
clean clothes."
There were already staff working quickly to clean up the pus and blood on the
floor.
The scabby man looked stunned as he stayed in place.
He stared at Sean before him and asked with a tremble, "Am I really cured?"
Sean said, "Don't worry, sir! It's true.
"But you look like you have no place to go. How about this? I could use a janitor.
If you don’t mind, why don't you stay? I can pay you a month's wages in
advance. You can start working when you're cured."
Hearing these words, the scabby man burst out in tears.
He never expected anyone to be so kind to him, and he had mixed feelings for a
moment.
He shook as he carefully took out a few pieces of loose change from his arms.
He finally put together ten dollars and handed it to Sean with a tremble.
"The banknotes I'm carrying aren't mine. I would give them to you if they were,"
the scabby man said apologetically to Sean.
The scabby man's money was also disgusting, but Sean grabbed it without a hint
of disgust.
"Excuse me, everyone, I'll take him to the bath and wash my hands and needles.
After all, bacteria will breed in a dirty environment, and it's unhygienic.”
Everyone present exclaimed as Sean left.
"Now, that's what you call a doctor.”
"Yeah, he's a good doctor with a kind heart. Not many people can treat a beggar
like that nowadays. It's really admirable."
"I'll give the clinic a try today. If I get good results, I'll come here for any ailments
or diseases I get in the future.”
The clinic director in the crowd looked on with resentment as Sean walked away
with the scabby man.
