The heir of the Lake family, who had usually been arrogant to anyone, was
speaking somewhat obsequiously to the middle-aged man before him.

"Even Mr. Winters is here. The Lake family has developed so fast over the years
that even Mr. Winters came to the Lake family's manor!"

Many Ocean City's dignitaries had gathered in the manor. They were currently
discussing Mr. Winters in low voices.

had him sit somewhere at the front.

"Uncle Winters, have a seat first. I'll ask my father to keep you company!"

Curtis said.

the guest company?

"Go about your business. I'l sit here."

Hearing this, Curtis also nodded before returning to the manor entrance.

crowded at all.

"Why aren't Old Master Davis, Old Master Carver, and Mr. Quartz here?"

Sitting in the front row, Mr. Winters had a surprised look as he asked the
patriarch of a family beside him.

The patriarch paused slightly before glancing cautiously at the Lake family
members not far away. Then, he muttered,” Mr. Winters, you don't know. Old
Master Davis, Old Master Carver, and Mr. Quartz all had some conflict with Curtis
the other day at Victory Auction House's auction.”

As the patriarch recounted the events at Victory Auction House's auction, Mr.
Winters was given a full account of what happened.

He nodded understandingly and said meaningfully, "That Sean Lennon has some
things up his sleeves. He got these three families to take his side when he had
only come to Ocean City a while ago.

"Interesting young man. It will be interesting if I have a chance to meet..."
Hearing Mr. Winters’ words, the patriarch smiled helplessly.

The patriarch thought, “Sean has a grudge against Curtis, but you still want to
meet him. Aren't you afraid of the Lake family overthinking it?"

However, with Mr. Winters' identity, he did not need to care what the Lake family
thought.

let alone do anything.
