Chapter 2246

While Sean and others were drinking to their hearts’ content, Kennedy and Curtis
sat at home with gloomy expressions.

Only a few insect chirps rang outside the yard in the night. "Dad, are we just
going to forget what happened today?" Curtis asked in a deep voice, hatred
glimmering in his eyes. Kennedy glanced at him, slowly got up, and looked up at
the stars.

"The Lake family is no longer what it used to be. With our power now, few people
in Ocean City dare to oppose the Lake family!

"Sean's just a little bastard from out of town. How dare he send me coffins
because Michael, Theodore, and Jadon have his back!

"Tell me everything you know about Sean."

Kennedy said slowly.

Although his voice was calm, it was icy.

Curtis's expression changed slightly before he slowly said,” As far as I know,
Sean owns Optimus Security Services and Optimus Clinic.

"He seems to be a skilled doctor. He treated Theodore and Michael, which is why
they're with him. I don't know his story with Jadon yet.

"Also, Optimus Security Services’ members are strong. They seem to have wiped
out the Crimson as well."

Speaking of Crimson's demise, Curtis clenched his hands tightly as his face
darkened to the extreme.

Crimson was the Lake family's ace. Few people in Ocean City knew this.

Over the years, Crimson had helped the Lake family eliminate their competitors.
With their help destroyed, there was no way that Kennedy and Curtis were not
angry.

"Can you confirm that Optimus Security Services took down Crimson?"
Kennedy asked in a cold voice, his piercing eyes locked on Curtis.

Curtis froze. He hesitated for a moment before nodding and saying, "It's highly
likely. Christopher has asked Crimson's assassins to kill Sean before.

"Other than that, Crimson hasn't taken on any assignments lately.”

Kennedy nodded slightly and looked at Ocean City's bright lights in the distance.
His eyes full of the vicissitudes of life glimmered in the dark with an unknown
brilliance. No one knew what the head of the Lake family was thinking.

When Kennedy said nothing, Curtis left.

In front of outsiders, he was the arrogant heir of the Lake family, but only he
knew that he was an heir better kept under the table to Kennedy.

The night was silent until the next morning.

In Greenview Hotel's top-floor presidential suite, a phone rang rapidly.

The man still sleeping a second before frowned and slowly opened his eyes.
"Which idiot is disturbing my sleep?"

Titus swore angrily and picked up his phone.

When he saw the caller ID on his phone, his pupils constricted suddenly.
Cautiously tapping his phone to answer the call, Titus whispered, "Dad, why are
you up so early today?"

"Bastard, where did you go last night?"

A sulky voice on the phone then added, "Hurry home. Kennedy's doing
something new!"

With that said, a beeping tone came from the phone. It was obvious that the
caller had hung up.

After the conversation, Titus gradually sobered up, and what happened last night
came back to him.
