"Hmph!"

Curtis snorted coldly and walked out.

Kennedy, who was no longer in the mood to speak, simply said a few words and
walked off the stage.

"Old Master Lake's at a disadvantage! What is Optimus Security Services’
background? It seems to be the first time Old Master Lake has admitted defeat in
front of so many people.

"I don't know. I've never heard of Sean Lennon in Ocean City, but he's friends
with Old Master Carver, Old Master Davis, and Mr. Quartz, so he mustn't be an
average man!"

"Aren't you talking nonsense? Who in Ocean City is generous enough to spend
millions of dollars per day on their employees’ meals?"

"Yes, I've decided I'll apply to work for Optimus Security Services if I ever go
bankrupt. Even if I can’t become a permanent employee, I don't mind having an
idle job. The food they supply is better than what I eat now!"

The venue hall was filled with voices of discussion.

Perhaps due to Kennedy's defeat, his prestige as the head of the Lake family
dropped to an all-time low, and everyone's voices were unconsciously much
louder as they discussed.

Curtis was quick. Soon after he returned, Greenview Hotel's waiters and
waitresses came into the hall with a series of expensive dishes.

"Hehe, this is good stuff! You've been serving rubbish earlier!"

Daniel spoke loudly.

Kennedy and Curtis’ faces were as dark as coal. As the head and the heir of the
Lake family, they had never been ridiculed by a security guard.

"Dad, Optimus Security Services is too arrogant.”

Curtis whispered.

Kennedy glanced at him and said with some frustration, "So Sean didn't do
anything out of the line. If we argue with his staff, we'll probably become a joke to
Ocean City's dignitaries."

After hearing this, Curtis became silent.

As the heir of the Lake family, he was not one of the smartest, but he was not
stupid. He understood what Kennedy meant immediately.

They would be disgracing themselves if they argued with Daniel and the others.
"Are we just going to let it go?"

Curtis asked in a deep voice.

After a moment of silence, a shrewdness flickered in Kennedy's eyes.

He said with a smile, "I won't let them go so easily. Who are these trash to
ridicule the Lake family?"

Looking at his father's expression, Curtis knew his father had thought of a way to
get revenge.

After a few rounds of wine and a few dishes, Kennedy took the stage again. This
time, he had five tall men behind him.

These five men wore vests, and anyone could see their bulging muscles.
"Everyone, today is the opening ceremony of Lake Security Services, so I
naturally would like to introduce Lake Security Services to you!"

Kennedy said with a chuckle before introducing the five buff men behind him.
Each was an established figure in the security industry, and each was skilled at
fighting.

Everyone present was an Ocean City dignitary, and they had employed security
firms, so they knew what the five people on stage represented in the security
industry.

“Mr. Lennon, we're in the same industry from now on.

"They say people in the same industry are competition, but I don't think so.

"I think we should push each other and improve each other. What do you think,
Mr. Lennon?"

Kennedy looked at Sean and said with a chuckle.
