Chapter 2277

Seeing Sean get up, Zander and the rest also got up and walked toward Sean in
an orderly formation.

Everywhere Zander and the rest walked past, the Ocean City dignitaries
consciously got out of the way as if to avoid a group of assassins.

Ocean City's dignitaries were only human and were aware of fear.

Daniel and the rest dared to humiliate the Lake family, especially when they were
not as prestigious as the Lake family.

"Since Mr. Lennon is leaving, it's almost time for us to go too.”

"Yes, I wouldn't even be here if Mr. Lennon wasn't coming. I'm too old for all the
commotion!"

"Let's leave together. The Quartz family still has some things that I need to go
back and deal with."

Theodore, Michael, and Jadon said and got upto leave.

Eventually, with Sean leading the way, more than a hundred people left.

These people came last and left first without any intention of leaving a shred of
respect for the Lake family.

"Dad... These people are such bullies!"

Curtis gritted his teeth and said.

Kennedy glanced at him and said coldly, "Keep hosting the ceremony. I have to
go first.”

With that said, he got up and left, regardless of Curtis’ response.

Everyone naturally saw Kennedy's sudden departure, and everyone showed odd
expressions.

Curtis had a bitter expression full of helplessness.

He also stayed back to clean up the mess after Sean and the rest delivered
coffins to the Lake family’s manor. The dignitaries present at the time did not see
what happened outside the manor at the time, so he made up a lie, and the
matter was dealt with.

However, today was different. Lake Security Services' men were openly
humiliated by Optimus Security Services, and everyone saw it.

How could he fix this situation to keep the Lake family's dignity?

"Curtis, I heard someone delivered coffins to Uncle Kennedy on his 50th birthday.
"1 wonder how you handled it? Uncle Kennedy is a man of status. How could you
let those villains do such a thing?"

Once Kennedy left, Titus got up and said to Curtis.

He looked like he shared a common hatred with Curtis, but everyone knew what
he was up to.

It was no secret that the Lake family's second and third branches were at odds
with the first branch.

As the heir of the Lake family's second branch, Titus, seemingly said this to
defend Kennedy, but he was actually trying to remind the audience of that day's
event.

Ocean City's dignitaries knew Sean had delivered coffins to Kennedy on his 50th
birthday with Theodore, Michael, and Jadon.

Curtis said earlier that they had left dejectedly after being intimidated by
Kennedy.

However, what happened today made everybody doubt what Curtis had said that
day.

The Lake family had also invited Ocean City's dignitaries, and Sean, Theodore,
Michael, and Jadon had come over to cause trouble.

Kennedy had even left first like that day.

They could tell from today's events that Sean and the rest were not afraid of
Kennedy and the Lake family. How could they possibly leave after being
intimidated by Kennedy that day?

Suddenly, everyone present looked at Curtis, and many looked like they were
watching a drama unfold.

"Titus, my family’s affairs are of no concern to you.

"You'd better mind yourself if you have that much free time!"

Curtis looked sullen as he glared darkly at Titus and spoke.

Titus ignored his warning look and said casually, "What are you talking about? I
may be from the Lake family's second branch, but I'm also a part of the Lake
family!

"Those villains not only humiliated Uncle Kennedy by doing such a thing, but
they're also humiliating the entire Lake family!"
